Because I am old and I have things out there from previous fandoms with previous pseuds and one day my teenager begins a rant at me about people never finishing any WIPs on the pit of voles (which he does not call the pit of voles because he has No Knowledge of such a thing but yet he still reads on which I didn’t think anyone did any longer) and he points out an example to me of something I WROTE AND LEFT WIPing for ages and he has NO IDEA #1 that his mom wrote this and #2 How much it still haunts me to this day that it will. sit. there. for. eternity. because I am too lazy to pull it down.

This post just reminds me of this one Percabeth fanfic I read in like 6th grade that I absolutely loved but then the author just stopped updating and like I lost my shit but I would check like every once in a while just in case it came back but then the next year it got taken down but I still couldn’t forget and I want everyone to understand that that all happened in 2015-2017, it is now 2020 and I’m about to be a Junior in high school and I still check it like every month just in case it comes back, I am now forever haunted by this fic and I just treaty wanna meet the author to ask them what happens.

thinkin bout how percy introduces himself as a troubled kid even tho he’s just a kid with rotten luck and like ok, he does weird shit but like,,, he’s not a bully, he’s actually pretty quiet, we see him befriend the outcasts, he endures other kids’ teasing because he doesn’t wanna fight. he’s his happiest when his mom gets home and brings him blue candy. like? he’s a nice kid. weird, yes, but good, as well. but im thinkin bout he was probably never told that by anyone (but sally, obv). like if you grow up being told you’re a troubled kid, being perceived as one and being treated unfairly because of it, obviously you grow up not only to believe you really are troubled but to actually cause it, cause you get punished anyway, so why not rebel. idk what im on about but i have many feelings about percy jackson in this chilli’s tonight
