Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, chopped. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 bell pepper, diced. 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes. 2 tablespoons tomato paste. 2 cups beef broth. 2 tablespoons chili powder. 1 teaspoon cumin. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado.
Instructions: In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are softened. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring the chili to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it cook, uncovered, for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Serve hot, topped with optional toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or avocado.
