what companies who sell you anti aging stuff don't want you to know is that if you're chill about aging, your perception of attractiveness changes as you get older. there is no "wall" where you suddenly become ugly and unfuckable because in my experience what actually happens is you get into your thirties and suddenly realize that people in their thirties are hot as fuck and the "flaws" that the beauty industry wants you to panic about are a feature not a bug, and based on the std statistics in nursing homes I don't really expect that trajectory to change.

A dystopia that actually has COLOR? And characters that look like they’ll have actual bonds with each other, giving you something to root for? Sign me the fuck up.

SO GUESS WHAT I JUST WATCHED AND NO ONE YET HAS MENTIONED THAT IT’S A FILM ABOUT ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE AND IT’S FUCKING INCREDIBLE

Finally watched this frickin movie thanks to some friends and it was somehow even better than I was expecting

I've been hyping up this movie for years and no one I've shown it to loves it like I do

used to think it terribly silly (and kinda funny) when fantasy or sci-fi stories would have people refer to major recent historical events as The Flood or The Incident or The Revolution, and im sure historians fucking hate that because it's not helpful or descriptive, but we sure do be calling it The Pandemic
