I love when people post photo dumps and just random mundane things and their pets and sunsets and their meals and spotify links !! I'm the target audience for your blurry vertical pictures of your morning cup of coffee
The most interesting question you can ask about any character is not what do they want. it's what do they believe they deserve. because those two things are almost never the same and the gap between them is where your entire story lives. a person can want love completely and believe they don't deserve it and that belief will destroy every good thing that comes toward them in ways they won't even notice they're doing. write the gap. the gap is the character.

the thing about phone in bed is that it's so awesome. almost makes you feel like betraying & destroying yourself for nothing isn't all so bad
Steal from everything you love. watched a movie and thought "wow that scene hit different"? figure out why and use it. read a book where the banter made you kick your feet? study it. saw a tiktok that made you Feel Things? that's research. keep a notes app full of random lines you'll never use. screenshot tumblr posts at 4am for "inspiration." your influences should be obvious and chaotic. remix everything. that's not theft that's apprenticeship.
I actually do think we should discourage women from becoming housewives. Do not become financially dependent on a man. That's how a lot of women ended up dead over the years. A man gets violent suddenly and you have to choose between homelessness or potentially dying at his hand because you have an enormous gap in your resume and no degrees or certifications or anything that will help you pursue a career that will allow you to be financially independent. He owns your bank account. His name is probably the one on the car. Try and leave and he can report it stolen. Where will you go then?
Don't become a housewife.
this was originally meant for top gun anniversary but I got lazy as fuck. anyways

Every mission briefing since the beginning has ended with "Good luck, Mr. Hunt," or "Good luck, Agent Hunt." So I love that the very last line of the franchise, spoken by Luther, was "Good luck, Ethan." It comes not from a superior, not from a shadowy faceless voice giving orders, but from a friend. It serves as a reminder, to us and to Ethan, that he's more than just an agent. He's a person. And while he may have the skills to save the world that no one else has, he also has the ability to make the world a better place by the choices he makes every day, which is something we all have. That was the essence of Luther's final message. That was the point of the entire film.
