Samoas Fudge is a delightful treat inspired by the classic Girl Scout Samoas cookies. It combines layers of creamy chocolate, caramel, crunchy shortbread cookies, shredded coconut, and toasted pecans for a rich and indulgent dessert.
Ingredients: 3 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 1 cup of caramel sauce. 2 cups of crushed shortbread cookies. 1 cup of shredded coconut. 1/2 cup of chopped toasted pecans.
Instructions: Line an 8x8-inch 20x20 cm baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract. Pour half of the chocolate mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. In a separate bowl, mix together the crushed shortbread cookies, shredded coconut, and chopped toasted pecans. Spread this cookie mixture evenly over the chocolate layer in the pan, pressing it down gently. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cookie mixture. Pour the remaining chocolate mixture over the caramel and spread it to cover the entire surface. Use a knife or spatula to swirl the layers together for a marbled effect. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it is set. Once set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut it into squares or bars. Serve and enjoy your delicious Samoas Fudge!
