Watching Arcane and this is all I can think about.

And Jayce is nearly weeping because he can NOT make anyone believe him that Viktor is an agent of chaos. He wants to grab their shoulders and scream that the first day he met this man the guy saved his life, immediately sassed his notes afterwards, then went right to "too bad your equipment is confiscated we should do crimes about it."

› B’s head on A’s chest, falling asleep by listening to A’s heartbeats. 

› Falling asleep on a recliner, arms around each other. 

› A falls asleep with head on B’s shoulder (gets to inhale their perfume/scent). B’s head is on A’s head and their arm around A to support them. 

› A is short and B is tall, so B sleeps with their back to the sofa and hugs A to keep them from falling to the floor. (it’s a really small sofa) 

› cuddling for warmth. 

› A is touch-starved.

› they wake up hugging each other and their noses so close, and they stare into each other’s eyes, not knowing what to do, afraid to break up the moment. 

› they can’t sleep (new place/not used to sleeping so close) so they whisper stories to each other and intertwine their fingers. 

dialogue prompts:

› "how did we end up like this?!” “I think the better question is, how do we get out of this?” “what if we don’t? " 

› "mmm. this feels comfortable." 

› "which perfume do you use?" 

› "your skin’s really smooth…" 

› "you have strong biceps/muscles…" 

Some people are legitimately allergic to thd proteins in certain meats and can’t even eat anything cooked in the same pan as X meat product/s.

As an epidemiologist I can list a few of the more annoying longer explanations that no one wants to have to explain to every person who ever offers them food:

- You drank water contaminated with giardia, which gave you 3 weeks of diarrhea followed by 3 years of lactose intolerance

- You were bitten by a Lone Star Tick and developed an allergy to beef and pork because the Lone Star Tick is a bastard

- You are Jewish and the meat isn’t kosher, but you don’t want to say that because antisemitism is A Thing and you don’t want to get bombarded with questions about the Middle East while you’re hungry

- You are Muslim and the meat isn’t halal, but you don’t want to say that because Islamophobia is A Thing and you don’t want to get bombarded with questions about the Middle East while you’re hungry

- You are on a restricted diet for medical reasons and don’t want to get bombarded with questions about your medical history while you’re hungry

- You are on a restricted diet for reasons that *are nobody’s business* and don’t want to get pulled into Potentially Triggering Diet Talk while you’re hungry.
