Recap on my day
So, I had an interesting day today. This morning, I had to go back to the opthamologist because my right eye seems to be blurry in my new lenses. Now my left eye can see clearly, but my right eye is a smidge blurry, reversing the original problem. LOL Regardless, I was right and it wasn't the eye glass stores error. Thankfully, my glasses are under warranty and only one week old.
This afternoon, I took my son to get his hair cut. When I was pulling into a parking space, this guy on a scooter came out of nowhere and skidded into my car. His error, but thankfully, with my changed attitude, I didn't rip him a new one, but instead, made sure he was okay. A 27 year old man, in a hurry to get the scooter/moped back to his friend who owned the scooter. I told him his life is more important than worrying about being in a hurry, in the rain, to get the scooter back to his friend. I guess he borrowed it and was hurrying it back to his friend because the friend was going to be late for work. Although I can't confirm his story, I made sure to make it a positive instead of getting all pissy. I asked him to promise me that if he starts to feel like he doesn't feel good, to please go to the ER to get checked out. As I was walking into the store front, I told him I would pray for him and he said, thank you, ma'am. Gave myself a little whiplash from jerking my head around to see what happened. Thankfully, my car was not touched except by the tire and the guy is okay. The scooter, however, fell apart and it took him 15 minutes to get it all put back together and thankfully, it still was working. I didn't know this man, but I also did not fear him.
While my son and I were waiting for the hair stylist to show up, we sat and waited for about 20 minutes and then I messaged her. I told her we were there and if she had a new suite. She said, no, but that she didn't realize she left her purse in her roommates car when she borrowed it yesterday and her purse had the key to her truck and her suite. So, now we are rescheduled for Friday afternoon instead.
Afterwards, my son and I stopped at Burger King and got something to eat. I still needed to go to WalMart to see about getting a prepaid card (that didn't work out) and buy another package of pepperoni since my 16 year old decided to get into the other package last night (lying about it wasn't him). A guy who was waiting behind me started being a jerk and complaining about me taking so much time. As I was walking out of the store, I said loudly that "impatient people need God". Somehow the guy heard that "impatient people need to die". He tried to start in with me, but before walking out, I told him I said, GOD and called him an idiot. It could have been worse, but I'm just going to pray for him. Why do people have to be in such a hurry that all they can do is complain. Then, they wonder why bad stuff happens to them because they were impatient and disrespectful. So, that was MY day. LOL
