The National Weather Service has issued a “Heat Advisory” for my area, beginning 10:00 my time Sunday and lasting until 21:00 my time Monday.
That’s two whole days!! 🤬🤬 Thirty-five straight hours.
As I have complained many times, we never used to get Heat Advisories here at all - and I’ve lived here for almost 42 years - this is a new thing over the past, oh, ten years or so.
The popsicle stash is good, anyway; I’m also researching what foods are recommended for old ladies to eat when the heat makes them a little nauseous. (Bland stuff, basically, like crackers, Greek yogurt, and so forth.)
