in spider-man 2 when spider-man is trying to stop the train from crashing, the first thing he tries is stopping the train with his feet pressed against the track, but all that does is break up the wood planks on the track without slowing the train down at all. when spider-man gets up to rethink his approach -- already exhausted and agonized from his fight with Doc Ock before he even blew out his knees on the tracks, dealing with his Aunt May getting evicted on top of his own poverty, having literally JUST pushed the woman he loves and who loves him away again, and now feeling the enormous pressure of the lives of everyone behind him being at stake unless he thinks fast --

an old man behind him says "You got any more bright ideas?" and there's a split second where spider-man just looks at him like this

Went to a drawing club hosted at the local library and got to play with posca pens for the first time as well as some other fancy markers. I have been feeling unaccomplished/inadequate with my art lately (probably too much internet) so sitting and drawing traditionally with other people of various levels around me was really good for my brain.
