you guys know you can get USB connectable CD, dvd, and blu-ray players right. and you can buy external hard drives with crazy amounts of space for an amount of money that would make the average person from 2009’s head explode bc of how cheap it is. and if you do this and get ripping software such as handbrake for CDs and DVDs and makeMKV for blurays you can both own a physical copy of whatever media you want and make it accessible to yourself no matter where you are. do you guys know this

lots of people are reblogging this and tagging it #piracy—i should clarify, this is not piracy! ripping DVDs and CDs to have your own copy is fully legal, because it’s your legal right to do what you will with your property individually. it only becomes illegal if you then distribute that file on the internet.

I feel so fucking lucky to have been shaped into the person I am today by One Direction. 2024 me does not exist as I am today, without them. How lucky am I to have be changed by them. I’m here today on this tumblr, with all of you- friends, mutuals, strangers- because of them. One Direction will always be woven into the fabric of my memories, experiences and dreams. That is a truth that cannot change. I am so so lucky to have loved them and be loved by so many of you because of them. Wow.

I love browsing salty internet communities of hobbies and interests I know nothing about. The circlejerk-subreddits of every hobby. Mean-spirited blogs roasting a product you wouldn't have known how to use before you read a breakdown of how it can't be properly used for that purpose. I am riveted reading peoples' comments on a tumblr for the absolutely shittiest thoroughbread horses. I can look at a photo of a horse and just go "hmm yes. That is a horse." and there's people commenting like "somebody geld this habsburg abomination. Who the fuck corssbred a friesian with a ferret and then inbred the offspring for three generations straight. Disgusting."
