Yk, a big example of the way people on the internet don't know how to think and extrapolate the actual context of something is this one guy I keep seeing on tiktok. He lives in NY and he has a series where he challenges himself to live a day in NY with a random low budget. If I'm not mistaken it ranges from 1.50 to 20 dollars. And he accounts for transportation and he's not allowed to use his groceries. And he makes it through the day mostly by exploiting deals in credit cards and restaurant apps. And every video, most of the comments is people saying "anything but buy groceries" "the budget is fake because he keeps using coupons". Because apparently, no one can comprehend the way this man is teaching people how to get a free full meal in ny city. The amount of meals I've seen this dude get for literal cents is incredible. And every time I see him, I think to myself "I hope someone who needs, sees this and figures out how to get a whole meal today" because that's what he's doing. 5 dollars will get you nothing at the grocery store, especially if you also need to pay for the subway to get home. But this dude somehow has deals that make 2 dollars get you a full meal complete with dessert and a drink. So someone who genuinely only had 5 dollars to figure out how to eat for a day, can copy that and actually get a meal. Jesus Christ, why are half the people on the internet unable to follow a series of events into a conclusion without someone spelling it out for them????????
