I feel like I might be overreacting but the last week has been shit so I have to vent.
I went to my partner's house for a week to try to feel better after my friend died suddenly and left my leopard gecko home to be cared for by my parents.
I just got home to find the probe for the thermostat almost hanging outside of the tank and the water bowl completely dry. When I got the probe back in place, the temperature was 110°F (about 43°C.)
In a panic, I looked for my gecko to make sure she was okay and ended up snapping at my mom for not caring/paying attention. Her response was that she and my dad had other things on their mind because we had to put one of our dogs down.
I'm literally sobbing as I write this because I feel like they don't care that they could have killed a pet that I've wanted for years.
I genuinely don't know if I'm overreacting because of the shit that happened in the last week or if I'm responsibly upset.
I know I'm not the most active on here but I'm not gonna be around for a while. A good online friend of mine passed away suddenly and I need time to recover and grieve. Same goes for my other blogs too. Until further notice, @theironguardianandfriends and @thelittlestsinner are on hiatus as well.
Insurance doesn't cover some tests my doctors want to run sometimes so I had to get them done in the ER when I was in unbearable pain so then insurance decided to cover it. Gotta love America.
