I think the thing that really grips me with TAD music is the way their lyrics mix together some of the most beautiful mythological imagery with incredibly real domestic moments.

Like the way they construct lyrics that provide a sense of fantasy and escapism and yet their songs feel so incredibly grounded with mentions of (often somewhat mundane) every day moments and very real human things.

It’s just incredibly visceral and compelling to me.

Just found out that something who was put on the adhd assessment waiting list over a year after me has had their assessment & I’ve had nothing. I want to scream & cry & throw things.

In reality I have sent an email & sobbed.

Maybe he didn’t pay much attention. Maybe he tried to scape from it in favor of other things (reading, practicing playing an instrument), but he must have learned some things.
