Nearest, my God, to Thee and Thy Cross

Hey friends, I may have asked for this before but I will ask again. Prayers for a dear, dear friend of mine, for whom I care very deeply, and from whom I have not heard in upwards of half a year despite reaching out numerous times. He lives some distance away from me, and since I met him at a summer camp, our families don’t know each other, so I can’t just drive over to his house or ask the family how he is. I may send him a letter soon, as a more physical and direct way of trying to contact him, because as I said, he hasn’t answered any of my calls or texts in over half a year. It’s not like him not to eventually respond to messages, or to not communicate if I somehow hurt his feelings or offended him, and I have a quiet terror that something might have happened to him, that of course I would have no way of knowing of due to the aforementioned distance and family unfamiliarity.

Please pray for me if you would. I’m okay but I need to go to confession again this weekend (sigh) and honestly at this point I just feel numb and tired. Not in my faith just with myself, if that makes sense.

We're hitting hour 20 of labour here. Please pray for my wife and daughter.

Hour 32. Baby girl still refuses to make her appearance. Mom is still healthy but just exhausted. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

35 hours of labour but baby girl is here and both her and mama are safe and sound! Thanks be to God!

actually if everybody just wants to have a party and pray for me (and my intentions) for twenty-four hours straight starting right now that would be fantastic. just sort of endless rosary prayers would be incredible i think. maybe we offer up a whole mass.

There's this video of nuns talking about their favourite things to do outside of nun activities and one of them says "ultimate frisbee" and the other one goes "and sister you are so good at that." I literally cannot get "and sister you are so good at that" out of my head. Out of all my stims this one is my fav lolol
