funny thing about anxiety is sometimes it kind of breaks your sense of danger. like i am known for repeatedly putting myself in situations that make my friends go "bro you couldve died. werent you scared?" and the answer is 👍 yjeah. i did it scared. i do everything scared. i didnt know that was the actual important kind of scary because i usually have to ignore my fears to function in society. it will happen again. watch out.

Your craft is YOUR craft. It doesn't need to be a copy and paste of other people's practices.

You don't need to be in certain religions.

You don't need to cleanse or even own crystals.

You don't need to believe that your divination tools are alive.

You don't need to use incense. Bells, salt, prayers, etc., can cleanse the same way.

You don't need to believe in astrology.

You don't need to celebrate certain holidays.

You don't need to believe in chakras.

You don't need to use candles in every single spell. There are other types of magic you can do.

You choose what you believe in. What works for others may not work for you and that is ok. Witchcraft is not a box that you need to be trapped in.

Friendly reminder that if your spells, rituals, workings, what have you don't seem to be working despite using "these reagents for these correspondences," may I ask if you know why those things have their correspondences?

Sure some of the stereotypes may work out okay. Everyone knows roses symbolize love or sunflowers are joy/solar energy. But can you tell me about the red clovers, acorns, and maple leaves in your town? What energy do they hold, and what folklore or physiological propreties tell you about that energy?

There's no shame in using what's popular, but truly knowing what you're working with makes all the difference! Same goes for tools such as scissors, coffin nails, mirrors, cords, and so on.

(Also I promise I'll be doing more on my herbal compendium tag, I just have other personal projects I'm more focused on!)

yes, a thousend Times. Ask why. And even better - ask yourself why. I can pick up a thing and say, it associate with this and this. But for YOU it will may associate something totally different; because you were socialsed, grew up and made different experiances from me! But I also see, how scary that is. Mostly when you share your thoughts with someone (or even the Internet). Sometimes I would love to make Youtube/Tiktok. Than again - I know, I couldn' t life with the negative Feedback of People screaming at me, that I "made it wrong" because I don't do it like they (or like everyone else screamed it should be done). Magic is Power. This Power is inside you. This power is UNIQUE to you. You are you and nobody is like you. So go ahead and let your practice be YOU. Feel and trust. Becoming a Witch is learning to trust your own guts again. That's scary. But it is, what will bring you forward in the long run.

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

I need to re find it but I remember on pagan forum someone did a survey on Queer pagans and norse gods they worship and everyone expected Loki or Frey to be the highest in the results but it was Thor. It took people by surprise.

More the I think about it the more Thor makes sense as Queer god or Queer affirming spiritually. Having Thor be your protector is very comforting and i find he has very open caring attentive vibe.

I can see in general groups where there’s invisible ‘don’t ask don’t tell’ and rarely anything during pride etc people going for big ol’ Thor but not feeling safe openly talking about being queer and worshipping Thor in these groups. It’s a shame because we should be able to talk about Thor and connect him to anything positive we find in our queer lives too. As openly and safely as Lokeans can be with sharing this.

Who where surprised? Why? If you had asked me (my sexuality is lived hetero, but internally.... complicated?) I would probally promptly shout Thor. For real. He's the God of the Humans. The Protector of Midgard. Thor isn't biased. You're nice - you're friend. you're not nice - you get a Lesson. Still not nice? - not Friend anymore. Easy. I mean, come on. He would probally lay his Arms around a lesbian and say: "Like Women? Can understand, Women are so beautiful!" To a Gay: "Like Men? Can relate. Their so admirable!" To a Bisexual: "Can't choose? Good Choice. Why only bread, when you can have bread and meat!" And so on. Like...he's the God that dressed in Drag to get his Hammer back? (Okay. Mostly because I think Loki thought it would be the absolut hilarious thing he can do and if Loki would had Ticktock or so, then their would be a wonderful "hidden camera" video about it! and for me person - I think Loki were just searching for an excuse to get his dress out again *laugh*). Dear Queers, even in norse Pagan/Heathen - Spaces, please be loud and proud. We want you much more here, than we want the Nazis.

Not even this alone. The most People can't handle WHITE People, dressing (or modificating) their Body in Ways, that are "to extra" and "to far away from the Norm". People should be whimsical? There are sounds of cheers and crying and the two people hug each other as they exchange the flags. The man at the doorway then waved kisses to the crowd within the pride parade.

The Tweet says: "NO YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HE WAS WAVING THE PORTUGUESE FLAG BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE A PRIDE FLAG AND THEY TRADED FLAGS AND HE'S SO EMOTIONAL TO GET HIS OWN PRIDE FLAG I'M EMOTIONALLY RUINED"

For context, apparently they were worried that maybe he's a nationalist because he was waving the Portuguese flag and some nationalists opposing the pride march were waving that flag. But upon interacting with him, it turns out he didn't have have a pride flag and he wanted to wave *a* flag in support of the pride march. So they had an exchange and now he has his own pride flag 😭🥹.

So. As you may know, I'm fat. No talk around it, I'm overweight by many and it would be better for me to loose weight. That's just a fact. So maybe some of you would be think, that I shouldn't talk on this topic but....

....I like to watch Reaction Videos to "Skinnytock" as I don't have Ticktock myself and don't wanna go that rabbithole. (Also, it's much more funny, when someone does the work to fact check things for you). So I dived down on Youtube while doing my Housework and there it was....the most brainwashed "Skinnytock is totally cool and Liv Smith is cool and helped me so much" - Video I ever watched before.

There are really People out there, that don't go "There are some good Tips in this TickTock Space" - but more like "Oh, they never said that" (they did), "Just eat when you hungry" (Babe, most of us have so much food at Hand, that we don't even know what hungry is. Sociatily speaking!), "Don't stuff your face, just because food is avaible" (because nothing like an old school clischee, that every "fat" person is fast because they eat constantly. Wonderful). It were like watching a Mormon defending, why it should be totally legal to marry your sixteen year old Cousin as your fifth Wife. Like please? Do you hear yourself talking? I'm on board with her, that it weren't okay, that People - thin people - were pushed out of the "Body Positivity movement (still. I'm so naive to thought, that it meaned "I deserve dignity and getting humanity treatment nomatter how my body looks or function. Instead of "Hey, fat is beautyful and healthy. I'm the first to admit, that it is not always (you can be overweight and otherweise healthy. Jsut as you can be underweight and still be otherwise healthy. Both extrems aren't good for you).

But Liv Smith? Miss "My inner self Talk is calling me a fatty and making pig noises"? Miss "Tomatos gives you cancer"? The Woman, who became her own Mean Girl to look like a Mean Girl? Wow. If loving your Body isn't making you change your habits to HEALTHIER things - than you have as much as a mental problem as People who try to silent their Feelings with food (guilty here. I work on it - with a Therapist mind you!) Just...sorry..needed that out of my Mind. Were so shocked....
