Tatiana never saw them sleeping. She doesn't even try to open Ilia's door in the morning, she doesn't want to know if it's locked. Her son is an adult and she doesn't need to—or want to—know anything about what he does at night at all, not even if he keeps his door locked.

She let them sleep in on Misha's first morning here. They didn't come down for breakfast, and that was fine. Misha must have been exhausted after all that travel, they could have a few extra hours. She's a mother before she's a coach.

But she's still a coach, after all. That second morning, she knocked on Ilia's door and called out a good morning just to see if they were awake. She heard nothing in return, so she called out again, louder this time. Ilia's responding good morning was groggy and annoyed, but he was awake nonetheless.

Today, they left the rink before she did. She had another class to teach, and they only had so long left together before Misha leaves. She expected them to be hiding in Ilia's room again, in their own little world, until she called them down for dinner.

Their little world is bigger, now, it seems, because her son (and her new son, maybe) aren't hiding in Ilia's room. They're napping on the couch in the family room, comfortable and peaceful and unafraid.

Tatiana doesn't cry easily, and it's silly that she's tearing up now. It's something so small, so mundane, but that's the beauty of this, isn't it? This house, the home she built, is safe. It's safe for the son she raised and cared for and taught to skate and to be kind and to love. It's safe for the boy he kept secret for so long, the boy who still has to keep her son a secret. The boy who has never had it easy, who she always had a soft spot for. She's grown to love him already, loves him for the way he loves her son. The way he plays with her daughter, jokes with her husband. Sleeps on her couch with no concern of the cat hair she can never seem to clean from her furniture entirely. It's okay, though, because it's proof that their three cats feel safe here. It's not that important, really, but it is, to her. She built a home where those she loves can be safe and be loved and love in return.

She sneaks a picture of the two of them on her way to the kitchen, reminds herself to send it to Ilia when they wake up. She'll delete it if Ilia tells her that she has to, even if he knows she'll never show anyone. She's safe.

ilia doesn't know where to put his hands, he feels so full and this feels so much like love that he's going crazy. it's only worse when misha starts to touch ilia's dick, too. ilia's going to cum like this, with misha's teeth sinking into his shoulder and their legs intertwined.

ilia also isn't normal about misha's glasses. misha had fake glasses at bol on ice 2025 because he liked how they looked. ilia asked to try them on and kept them on the rest of the night. they were both very normal about it.

i don't know if there's ever been a safe word situation specifically. in situations that are a bit more intense, they probably should have a safe word but don't really. most of the time wait/stop/no etc is enough. they're both not entirely great at identifying what's a boundary that's fun to push and what's a boundary that they don't want crossed, and it's usually the other's reaction that causes them to pause and reassess (think ilia crying harder than usual at the wife comment in part one, misha stopping, ilia not wanting him to stop, misha making them pause and assess the situation anyways).
