This Pride Month, I’m not feeling very festive. I’m fucking furious. I’m tired. I’m sick to death of watching everything I love get torn apart by bigots, transphobes, and racists. And yet all I see right now online is the usual ‘uwu happy pride month! Love is love!’ posts ???
Trans people are dying. The support networks they depend on are being ripped away. The progression of LGBTQIA+ rights in the UK haven’t just come to a halt, they’ve gone backwards. We’ve dropped from number one in Europe for LGBTQIA+ friendliness to 22nd.
All this bathroom bullshit is not only oppressing trans people, but everyone.

And people are actively choosing not to fight for trans rights and lives because of what? Some fucking fictional book?
I don’t give a damn if Harry Potter was your childhood. I had the merch. I queued for midnight showings. I bought the books on release day and read nothing else for years. It was my childhood too - and I ditched it the second I realized how disgusting JK Rowling really is. That’s how easy it is.

Grow the fuck up and actually support your trans and non-binary siblings instead of making shitty excuses to do nothing. There’s no such thing as an ‘ethical fan’ and I’m not interested in debating it.

Do better. Silence in the face of injustice is compliance.

Abel Township Christmas party

Multiverses crossed, and this Christmas party has a very unusual number of runner fives for Abel Township- but the more, the merrier! Sam, Janine and Jody aren’t complaining (well, Janine might grumble a little bit, since the odds of unusual events happening in and around Abel just went up exponentially).

After 6 years I’ve finally ran 500 miles! *CUE THE PROCLAIMERS!!!!!*

Okay so I imagine this actually happens semi early in Five ‘s time at Abel because I can’t imagine Five running all these years and only hitting 500 miles during Season 7.

But I can imagine Five and Sam jamming out to this in the middle of Abel’s courtyard, after Five came out of her shell because she would be very anxious about singing in the middle of the square. Sam’s insistent approach does work though to getting her to sing and becomes one of her favourite memories with Sam as a result.

Last week, I was unexpectedly laid off from my dream job. Unfortunately, I still haven’t been paid for the last month of work plus some reimbursements that the company still owes me, which has left me very tight on money. And I need to pay rent.

I have 12 years of experience doing character design and illustration work. I have a diverse background and an even more diverse skill set. I’ve created art for animated series, comics, games, and apps. I’ve also worked on puppets and costumes for theme parks around the world.

I’m not picky about what the next step in my professional career is. I just need to find good work as soon as possible.
