finally updating the description of our blog. still temporary, and the latter two paragraphs don't perfectly reflect how we all feel.
plural/system , questioning since oct. 2024 | bodily 17
we collectively go by gryphon and use he/him pronouns
eehhhgrrr just don't be a POS, actual proper dni will be up soon
don't mind the manner we'll have a remake of the old on soon i just got tired of it being cut off
temporary pinned as i'm going to revamp our blog it has been bothering me i NEED to redo it
---
note from july 17: currently getting rid of most offtopic stuff atm. this mostly affects reblogs & rants. our views haven't changed it just gets a bit overwhelming when our blog is all over the place. likely will make sideblogs for both things at some point.
---
hellooo.
we are the ant hill.
we're a plural collective and this is our main & shared blog.
we post whatever here, however it was made somewhat with the intention of being a place for us to document observations & realizations & whatnot.
---
things we collectively identify with:
name: gryphon
pronouns: he/him
IDs: aroace(spec), transmasculine, alterhuman
bodily 17 y/o - may 24
we have autism, adhd, social + generalized anxiety disorder, and ocd.
we do not bother with determining an origin for our plurality. we don't know what it is & don't know how to figure it out. also we're not sure if it would actually change much anyways so who cares.
---
short intros
βοΈ excalibur - he/him + any homophones - ut au pseudo/semi-introject(?) + skeleton extranthrope
^ so long as pronouns sound like and mostly resemble he/him idrgaf
#theanthillcollective + #ππ = literally anything we post, sometimes used on our sideblogs
#ππ text - text posts
#ππ reblogs - reblogs of other people's posts
#ππ sideblog reblogs - reblogs of posts from our sidebogs
#ππ art - any art made by us. includes illustrations + other forms of art.
#ππ comic - comics we make based on our own personal experiences
#ππ comic wip - sneak peeks for potential comics
#ππ life updates - any sort of post that details news in our personal life, such as realizations and whatnot.
#ππ unprompted ramblings - just random rants, ramblings, whatever comes to mind.
#ππ responses - responses to ALL asks we receive
#ππ ask game responses - responses specifically to ask game questions
#ππ collective shenanigans - like life updates, but really just about stupid stuff about each other/insys
#ππ late night chaos - also like life updates, but specifically in regard to any thoughts & revelations after midnight. ramblings, identity bullshit, etc. etc. are found here
#ππ s-course commentary - for when we decide to TECHNICALLY comment on system discourse but do not wish to be using the main tags because that place is a scary and uninhabitable place.

haiii angelzzz!! i hope ur doing okayy. My partner rlly loves ants and im starting to like ants to because of him.... I wike ur bwog theme!!q(β§β½β¦q)
o/ hello! apologies in advance, socializing isn't my strong suit so this response might not be the best in comparison to the uzhe on this blog.
that aside, thank you very much! funnily enough our collective name was entirely decided upon a random whim over a year ago now, far before we ever considered having a public blog, so we just kind of committed to it; i'm glad that it appears to still work pretty well all things considered.
also, i would in fact say we're doing okay. a bit more tired than our usual but overall we're doing pretty well for the most part, i think. just bad at keeping a consistent sleep schedule.
hope you're doing good as well! many thanks, yes yes yes.
There's nothing wrong with blocking a blog if they post something that makes you uncomfortable. You don't owe anything to internet strangers and you're allowed to curate your internet experience.
just realized we have like 50 followers, i thought we still had like. 8 or something. i am so sorry that you guys get the most randomest shit from us on your home pages oh my goodness
we really need to like. organize things actually i think. i just realized we never did. we've been here for months what are we even doing
one more pk;m new and i am disowning the concept of identity. is there actually this many of us or are we just mistaking pre-existing folks for being new people

there are some people on here that i just need to take some of these folks and just stare at them while i'm squatted on the sidewalk like they're bugs in the cracks between the pavement on a sunny day in the late evening for several hours on end with nothing but the breeze in the air and the faint rustling of leaves
i fixed previous sign-off tags to properly reflect that we were blurry for the last 4-ish days because originally they had my tag and i don't think that's accurate
we're essentially just in college at this point.
i am no longer sure about my source. gotta love hyperfixations making everything 100x more confusing.
this is possibly the first time that being blurry hadn't entirely obscured our identities, just something i find interesting.
we bought planet zoo and have been enjoying it greatly despite building being a pain in the ass.
still not sure if we'll change the name of our collective.
anyways i am like fairly certain i'm no longer by myself up here now so i will be concluding this post now to keep it the way that it is.
Examples of being strange about plural identities:
Treating fictives like they're your blorbo as opposed to a whole guy.
Deciding for yourself how a fictive or factive should relate to their source, if you think fictives & factives *must* be different from their source in some amount, you are not normal about plural identities. If you make moral judgements on an introject for the contents of their source material, you are not normal about plural identities.
Looking at spiritual aspects of plurality with undue skepticism and doubt when they don't apply to you.
Talking down to a fictive or factive for having a "problematic" source, and assuming that everyone gets to pick exactly who they are.
Refusing to use everyone's individual name when asked, or only recognizing one person in the collective.
Gatekeeping and fakeclaiming. You're not normal about plural identities if you insist all plural people need to have trauma. You're not normal about plural identities if you think someone has "too many alters" or perceive their conversation as "roleplaying".
Dictating what someone is or is not able to experience based on your personal understanding of their history.
Reacting to someone's plurality by imagining and feeling sorry for the trauma you assume they went through.
Finding the idea of plurality scary. Even past the evil alter stuff, if you think someone switching without you noticing is frightening, you are not normal about plural people. If you read or watch horror based around a killer with DID or a tulpa who kills its creator, you are probably not very normal about plural identities.
Any "eww" or "cringe" reaction to someone talking about themselves.
Dismissing experiences because you personally don't view them as valid or real.
there is a chance that there is somebody new here or somebody i'm just not used to having in co-front and i don't know how to feel about it
i genuinely don't mind a new and/or unfamiliar presence it's just like hello?? i did not know our ocd could present this way??? what the fuck. also being notably more chatty is also very odd but that's just because i in specific am not used to it i guess

we have around 21 headmates πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈIdk it feels good to see others with βsmallerβ head counts
y'know i'm not gonna lie i looked at this last night and i was confused for a moment.
i. completely forgot our head count was in our info post. i don't even remember when we last updated that part of it.
so. first of all, thanks for that reminder i need to see how accurate it still is.
anyways! yeahh we get that. it's so interesting how (seemingly almost infinitely) diverse the plural community is. and yet there's also so so many things you can share in common with others, and that connection is always a rather nice and lovely thing once you find it, i think.
speaking of, apparently at some point we thought there was only like 5 of us. oh how the turns have tabled.
not quite sure what to title this one. so instead here's the premise of this post:
trying to document things about your system, collective, constellation, etc. can be really overwhelming. it can be exhausting. and most importantly, it's really difficult to know where to start.
so, no fancy templates here, no pressure to make things look nice, no need to use all sorts of jazzy little symbols, here is a list of things that you can do to help know yoursel(f/ves) a bit better. it doesn't look good, it's just bullet points basically, but it's what we can guarantee we have the energy for.
we'll update this when we feel like it, feel free to suggest things (in fact, PLEASE suggest things, this is deliberately meant to be added on to by the public), and don't feel pressured to answer anything that you don't wanna.
some of these are very basic and may be obvious, but what is a list if not to give instructions for people who also want the most basic of things to be spelt out for them. otherwise, it isn't very helpful now innit?
the list is under the cut just so this doesn't take up too much space.
this post was (primarily) made by booker & excalibur. if you see the grammar change periodically, that is why.
Name(s)
this could also include things such as nicknames, someone's most preferred name, etc.
Pronouns
what it says on the tin. also good to include notable preferences here too.
Gender
doesn't even need to be a label, write a little blurb instead if you want to. gender is a construct, don't limit yourself to boxes if they don't work.
Attraction
same as above!
Things related to appearance & presentation
this can include species, hair color, eye color, body shape, prominent features, a moodboard, fashion preferences, anything you want. you can use picrews or f2u bases if you need to, anything that helps.
Symbols/Things someone is associated with
this can include a color someone likes, general mindsets, character tropes, characters they relate to, flowers, animals, a music genre, etc. could also include emojis, if you use them for sign-offs and whatnot.
Linguistic habits
accents, typing quirks (even as simple as not using proper grammar, unique uses of punctuation, emoticons, etc.), vocabulary, words someone may often repeat, etc.
This is all stuff that we've personally considered.
Now, here's what other folks have mentioned:
Connection to humanity
if there is a lot of you of whom are nonhuman in some way, shape, or form, this can be a helpful difference to take note of.
Fronting signs
linguistic habits & mindsets can actually fall under this category, however here's a list of other things people have spoken about: tics, hyper/hypo awareness of certain senses, (more to be added)
Belief systems
these can be spiritual beliefs, political alignments, discourse stances, stuff like that.
Likes & dislikes
this can include: foods, drinks, activities, hobbies, fandoms, people, weather, music, socialization, etc.
Social presentation
this can include attitude, habits, & the way someone carries themselves, and consequently, things that are impacted by that. this can also help with determining roles if you care about that. if someone is closely associated with a mood, that can also count.
Blurbs
2-3 sentences that capture somebody's "essence" so-to-speak, like a character blurb on the back of a book (<- comparison is from the person who brought this idea up.)
Age
we've somewhat struggled with this one personally, but even just a general idea of what level of maturity someone can handle in terms of conversations (like a movie rating, almost) is pretty good, i think.
hellooo you have made it to the end... like the above list, this will be added onto over time. anyways, here are some things that we've done that we feel like isn't as taxing on the brain cells & that you can just have fun with:
Collages
we make collages for profile banners, because drawing everything gets to be too much sometimes. here's two examples:
the one above was made for pup, the one below was made for excalibur.
all we did was use photopea & then scrounged around for transparent pngs for several hours and mashed 'em together.
just discovered the most in your face shit we've ever written down and it's from february. FEBRUARY. IT HAS BEEN FIVE MONTHS???
anyways. starting to think we have split before, more than once at that.
which, in hindsight, wow, hello captain obvious, but also?? why am i just now figuring this shit out now?
so, this comic? yeah. we did not know that this was very likely a switch until a week after making it. yes, you read that correctly, it was not intentionally about experiencing a switch.
and, you may be wondering to yourself already, how on earth did we not figure that out?
however it gets worse it gets so much worse. do you want to know what i found from february. i can't even make this shit up. we literally wrote down what switching feels like for us, and the description we provided was EXACTLY this, i am DIRECTLY pulling this from the document i found:
"It's so weird. Sometimes it's anxiety inducing, you feel wrong, it feels like your brain is pushing you elsewhere almost. It's very disorienting for those of us stuck fronting - like myself. Other times, you don't notice it at all until it's over."
we wrote down. what switching feels like. and when we experienced THE SAME THING TO THE T four months later, and LITERALLY MADE AN ENTIRE COMIC ABOUT IT, and you're telling me. that we DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS A SWITCH ???
i am going to cry (/nsrs) what the fuck are we doing guys.
hashtag every day i look back on things we've written down previously and i question more and more how we've even managed to get this far with how much shit we somehow miss.

hi just a reminder that the pluralspace vs plural space thing isn't an issue anymore because the one that uses ai renamed their project and i just realized a lot of people still don't know this !!
i don't remember what they changed the name to, but now the only pluralspace there is, is the one that DOES NOT USE AI.
the official site is here
i highly recommend it, it's been a big help for us personally and given how much we struggle with finding good apps that don't overwhelm us i just wanted to point this out
edit: thank you to the folks who pointed out that the name of the other app is now plural star. i thought it might've been but i wasn't 100% confident.
I'm developing an app and used a Json file from someone to make a pluralspace import possible but Idk what pluralspace one they used. and at the moment I'm f*cked confused.
Got folks who can't import and all.
So:
Which pluralspace gives the keysmashedletternumberfile.json and which one gives the openplural.json file.
i did a bit of digging since i haven't actually looked at importing nor exporting yet, this is what i found on the pluralspace i linked in the og post:
i also decided to get exports of both types just to see if they lined up with the file names you brought up.
upon downloading the openplural export it was zipped as "export.zip" and here is what was provided:
within the media folder was simply pngs from different areas on the website that you can upload images to.
unfortunately you do have to wait until you can request another export so i can't share what the json option outputs just yet but i CAN confirm that the openplural.json file that you were sent does come from that specific website.
if you need i can reblog this again later when i'm able to request the other export type. however i have a hunch that you were likely just sent two because 1. there's two options on pluralspace.app & 2. the other project has been rebranded to be plural star for a while now, so i'd be surprised if someone mistook one for the other.
sorry i was wrong. it was actually much much closer to 00:00 rather than 23:00.
anyways, got the other one requested and downloaded. same name for the zip file, here's what's inside of it for the JSON option as opposed to the openplural option:
so i'm not. quite sure where the .json that you got that had a name consisting of a random string of characters came from..? very odd, but whatever.
anyways, conclusion:
openplural.json is from the website pluralspace.app, and so is data.json
random keyboard smash.json is from something else (presumably plural star, which was formerly plural space, with a space between the two words.)
i would fact check if the plural star app put out the other json file you mentioned however i do not want a vibe coded app on any of our devices, even just temporarily, so this is all i can personally provide.
that aside, thank you for helping the community out! i wish you luck on your project.
