Mikaelson & Family-Adjacent OC Masterlist, coming at you like a week after it was promised. Broken down in sections because of how many there are. Assume all of these people kiss at least once of Flora's ocs. #florias. These characters usually don't exist together, but I can do what I want and sometimes they do. Unless they are needed or mentioned for the other to exist (Sigurd/Adinah/Talisa/Magnus), assume they don't take place in the same universe.
Helga — Mikael & Sigurd's sister, born between them. She was raised to take care of her brothers, a function she serves well for the rest of her natural life. In most variations of the story where Helga exists, Angela is her daughter with Mikael, who she willingly gave up to Mikael and Esther. Esther begged her for her help to reignite a spark in Mikael, one that would bring a gentleness Helga herself never knew back, and she got it. (Typically 'dies' when they became vampires, but in some stories, she is the only vampire Mikael turns. Main Love Interest undecided, but she does like pretty much everyone in this generation. I consider Runa to be canon to her story).
Sigurd — Mikael's barely younger brother, around three to four years his junior. He and his brother were thick as thieves and valued each other in life and in fights. He's a little unhealthily attached to him. When Mikael married Esther, it spurned Sigurd and turned him hateful for a bit. Later, though, he marries Adinah (out of spite, turned actual affection) and has two children with her. He almost dies after going on a raid but makes it back home to see his wife and children have disappeared, and Henrik died. In the following months, he's turned alongside his brother's family. (Original Vampire. Still married to Adinah, who he believes has died. Considered a brother to @icarusofathousanddays' Runa as well).
Adinah — The youngest sister of Dahlia and Esther. She used to be the troublesome one of them until they began to fracture, and she reformed to a peacemaker. Adinah refused to speak an opinion on Mikael/Esther, but she seemingly chose sides with Esther after she married Mikael's brothers, Sigurd. Yet, after Sigurd takes too long to return from his journey, she takes her children to find Dahlia, and narrowly misses being turned. (Witch. Dahlia finds out about them being vampires and ties her life to Sigurd's, unwilling to lose her. She also, tragically, ties them together romantically forever).
Aeryn — The mother of Mikael's first child, the infamous Aaron. She was captured before the sisterhood trio, although her time overlaps with theirs. She gave birth a short year before Mikael chose to marry Esther, and raised him alongside the DEA trio. When Mikael decided to take Esther and split away to settle his own family down, Aeryn sent Aaron with him, hoping he would have a better chance of survival. She remained with the group until it was just her and Dahlia left, and traveled (plus fell in love) with her until Dahlia left and came back with her son. It triggered a breakdown for her and she was never quite the same. (Dahlia is her main love interest. She was included in Dahlia's century spell, but she functionally gave up her magic to funnel it into Aaron's brand of immortality. Witch, technically).
Eivor — Aeryn's older brother. He was gone when she was taken and has spent most of his adult life searching to get her back. He does eventually manage to come in contact with Dahlia, who uses him as a base for her daughter. After that, she erases his memory and discards him into the world. (Vampire. He ends up being Kol's first sire one day and remembers everything after).
Lorna — Ansel's second wife. I usually give him another fridged dead wife who came before her, who he married very young and then remarried Lorna. She's the mother of Augustus, Nathaniel and Amelia, who are Klaus' half siblings. She is almost killed by Mikael, and barely saved by Ayanna. Mikael kidnaps her when he takes Ayanna following Esther's death, and uses her as a punching bag for the most part. In stories that center on her, Mikael has also taken Tatia's child and given her to Lorna to raise, so she gets another baby. She and Ayanna raise them until Ayanna dies and then Mikael rips them away. (What she ends up being depends on how far in the story I like to let her life. Sometimes she's human, and ends up a vampire turned by Sage. Sometimes she's a wolf and dies fighting Mikael. Unfortunately, her main love interests are Ansel, Mikael and Ayanna, none of whom ever have a good time about it.)
GENERATION 2: Don't talk about how many there are. In order of age. Keep notice of the differences in parentage because they do NOT all have the same parents!
Aaron — The eldest son of Mikael and Aeryn. Following the birth of Freya and Finn, and Dahlia coming for Freya, Esther attempted to offer Aaron in Freya's place. Seeing as how he was eight at the time, to Freya's five and Finn's four, he remembers it clearly. Realizing she wouldn't be able to keep him quiet the same way she did Finn, Esther instead bartered with him that he go to protect Freya until Mikael came for them, effectively sending two of her children off. Dahlia used Aaron solely as a balm to keep Aeryn & Freya both 'sane', leading the two down a codependent path, but one more manageable for Dahlia and Aeryn. When it came time for their immortality, however, she deemed him no longer necessary. It is Freya who panics and teleports him away when it's time for Dahlia to kill him. It is Aeryn who graces him with a fool's immorality. (Warlock. Main Love Interest is Meredith Fell).
Brynhilda — The daughter of Dahlia and Aeryn (Eivor is used as the other part, but she's functionally their daughter). Dahlia carried her to curate her magic well as she was supposed to be the firstborn of the next generation. Her existence tipped Dahlia off to Freya. Things went well, after that. Truly. She was born shortly after Finn, so she was four when Dahlia brought home Freya and Aaron. (Witch. Stripped of her immortality when Dahlia died. Main Love Interest is Jackson Kenner).
Augustus — Ansel and Lorna's son. It's rare I let him, Nathan and Amelia live all at the same time but they technically all exist in each other's stories. August was killed by Mikael during his rampage, and remained dead for a thousand years. Esther resurrected him when she was tapped into the Bennett bloodline, planning to use him as the original to kill her children (#poetic) but it didn't go well. He has to figure things out and fast, before Klaus and those other sons of Mikael go crazy. (Main Love Interest is Hayley Marshall. Werewolf).
Eira — My obligatory twin sister of Elijah. She exists as a shield between Klaus and Elijah, and often times, their relationship is 50% less enmeshed with her nurturing Klaus and holding Elijah to his word. Unfortunately, this means Klaus is a little obsessed with her, and she's pretending not to notice while using it to micromanage the family. Esther daughters, rise up! She has very specifically never sired a vampire. (Original Vampire. Main Love Interest is Enzo St. John).
Nathaniel — Not his real name, but don't focus on that. The younger brother of August, older brother of Klaus and Amelia (& Lilah/Mianna/Idalia when they exist), and second son of Ansel and Lorna. He is the sibling who lives, usually, and he exists very heavily in Lilah's story. He's the first non-original hybrid to be created, through a series of accidents, and he is forced to go on the run so Mikael doesn't realize he's not dead. First ever sired vampire in his main stories and first living hybrid who isn't a Mikaelson (but close enough!). Lilah compelled him to never disclose his status so she's forcing some psychological issues on him. (Main Love Interest is Rowena Claire, of my own fame. Hybrid).
Angela — A sister born to Mikael and his own sister, two years Elijah's junior. Mikael and Esther 'adopted' her after Mikael "found her" screaming in the village, but all three of her parents know what actually happened. She was born having visions, only truly triggered and big enough to realize after she was turned. She dedicates herself to living her life freely, prioritizing Elijah and Kol over all, and having an aching wound where she wants her father back in her life, but doesn't want Klaus dead. She usually always has a daughter in the stories she's in. (Original Vampire, for a time. Main Love Interest is Stefan Salvatore, but no doppelganger is safe).
Delilah (tagged as Lilah on this blog) — Esther and Ansel's daughter, born a year before Klaus. The daughter is adored while the son is loathed. It does nothing to pull them apart. For every hit that lands on Klaus is another notch pulling Delilah away from Mikael. It doesn't make him kinder, nor does it make Klaus softer. It only hardens her into a sword-wielding warrior who stubbornly trains Klaus every day until they can beat their siblings, and one day, their father. Only. . . she goes too far and steals the life of someone before any of her brothers die, leading Mikael to realize Esther's infidelity before they turn. On a dime, the roles have reversed. The daughter is loathed, discarded, and the son is adored. And still, it is a brother's death that drives them into becoming originals. Or in Delilah's case, a hybrid. And now she has to cope with Elijah's death and keep Klaus from going out of his mind, watching her younger siblings grow further away in an effort to keep them safe. (Original Hybrid. Main Love Interest is Damon Salvatore).
Mianna — Exists with @icarusofathousanddays' Idalia, as the triplet sisters of Klaus. Her life is a nightmare, and her greatest ally is someone who is being put through the horrors with her. Klaus and Elijah refuse to stop being weird about her and her triplet, and it means they are never allowed to thrive on their own. It also means that they keep attracting Klelijah's brides to fall in love with them, too. She mercy kills Katherine, which triggers her wolf gene, too late into the game. (Original Hybrid. Main Love Interest is Idalia).
Talisa — The daughter of Sigurd and Adinah, born maybe nine months after Klaus. She's raised alongside her cousins until her mother takes her and her brother to Dahlia, and misses Henrik's death, funeral and the original tag-along dinner. She misses her father dearly, and starts doing human sacrifices to try to find him. Dahlia doesn't really mind, but Adinah does. She and Magnus aren't allowed to be real immortals, because Dahlia is still mad they come from Sigurd. Instead, Talisa is tied to a constellation and her immortality functions that way. It works out well when she finds another immortal, locked away, and takes her for herself. (Witch. Main Love Interest is undecided).
Amelia — Also not her real name. Don't worry about her, okay? She's the youngest child of Ansel and Lorna, and one of the younger siblings of all of Ansel's kids, bastard or otherwise. She is neck and neck with Koren age wise. Where one brother dies and she believes another one does as well, Amelia is sent tumbling through the future on her own two feet when Mikael attempts to kill her, an unstable loop that sends her somewhere else every time she has a run in with someone who shares her blood, be it Klaus or Nathan. She is sent bouncing around through time until Klaus breaks his curse and breaks hers too. (Main Love Interest is Malachai Parker).
Soren — Kol's younger twin brother. Slightly more reasonable, until it comes until the safety of himself and his brother (And Miri). He and Kol are planning to run away with Rebekah and Henrik (and everyone younger than them, essentially) shortly before Henrik dies. Then everything goes to hell. Frick and Frack are known historians, liars and maniacs about each other and a variety of other things. Kol gets daggered less, but he goes down hard each time, now, with someone fighting on his side. Is it enough to stand against Silas? (Original Vampire. Main Love Interest is Atlas Sloan).
Iliana — The sister born between Rebekah and Henrik. Iliana was born sick, nearly dying, and in her desperation, Esther drew on dark magic to keep her alive. If you let her explain it, she pulled on the power of the blood moon, imbuing her daughter with enough magic to survive. If you let Iliana explain it, she used blood sacrifices. Either way, she lives. In one version of her story, Henrik dies, and she becomes the most feared of her siblings. In another, he lives, and she gets locked away with heretics. In both, she keeps her magic, connected to her very soul. In every version, she is unable to sire vampires. (Original Witch-Vampire Hybrid. Main Love Interests are Elena Gilbert, Nora Hildegard and Mary Louise).
Henrik — Not an oc but he kinda is. Always a dutiful little brother. There are various aus for him in my head, but the main ones fall into three categories. ONE, he dies and Klaus' ritual is used to resurrect him. TWO, and the one I play in the most; after the collapse of the other side, he's resurrected & sent traveling through time with a companion (Bonnie). THREE, he lives and becomes a menace, usually in Lilah's story or any story where Iliana gets locked away. (Main Love Interest is Bonnie, and Flora's Agnes).
Magnus — The son of Adinah and Sigurd. His story is the same as Talisa's, up until the point of her doing blood sacrifices. He doesn't do all of that. He and Henrik have a deep bond and he feels it when he dies, so he goes into shock and basically goes mute until it's their turn to bathe in immortality. He instead kills himself, rather than living without his father and his cousin, but he is not allowed. Dahlia resurrects him with a grand massacre. Magnus becomes a different shade of immortality, more akin to Rayna Cruz'. For each life given to resurrect him, he has another lifespan to go through if he dies. (Main Love Interests are Liv and Luke Parker).
Astoria — Baby Mikaelson Sister. She was five when Henrik died, far too young to be turned, leaving her to be 'raised' by Finn and Sage until Kol, training her to use her magic, accidentally kills her after attempting to defend them both against enemies. Believed to be an original by most of the world, but known to be a runner by her family. (Main Love Interest is Jeremy Gilbert).
SPOUSES — Characters I've created who end up together or otherwise married to my, or the canon, Mikaelsons.
Atticus Rolfe — He has a published story but I want to rework it so shh. Originally named Tobias, Atticus was raised with a brother and sister semi-peacefully until he met Rebekah and Kol Mikaelson. Rebekah lured him to Kol, who with Klaus' permission, turned him into a test subject. Kol was interested in the differences in their blood, and Atticus was one of his last test subjects before they had to flee and burn down his work. He died in the fire and came out a vampire, but has no clue which sireline he hails from. He spends the next thousand years avoiding Mikaelsons, helping Sage train her devotees, having hate-team ups with Lucien and adopting kids on and off. (Vampire. Main Love Interest is Elijah Mikaelson).
Melissa Romero — one of my Klaus brides, the main one, who gets to kiss Vivi too. She started in Angela's story and quickly became a Klaus bride in all of them. She hails from New York, with a load of half siblings on her father's side and her mother's, and is best friends with Angela or Rowena, depending on the story, sometimes both. She is the first person to volunteer to be a hybrid to Klaus, intending to have her siblings follow suit, and sticks by him. Even when she really should leave. For better or for worse, whether it's just them or it's Vivi and a couple of others, too, their vow is the truest thing they've ever said to another person. Is that really saying much? (Werewolf turned hybrid. Main Love Interest is Klaus Mikaelson).
Atlas Sloan — Once married to a woman he can't remember, Atlas Sloan now identifies as the functional third to Kol and Soren's dynamic. Kol's best friend, and Soren's greatest love, he is privy to something that others would run away from and relishes in it. He runs when he's told to, comes back when called, and never falters in his devotion to his guys. In his human life, he was happily married and fell to his death, having been slipped vampire blood twenty three hours before. He lost his memories in the fall and as far as he's concerned, Soren is his oldest and longest love. He'll do what it takes to keep them safe, but it's getting harder to ignore the fact Soren's going to one day throw his life away for one of theirs. A hopeless romantic, who keeps gaining suitors and admirers who would probably throw the world away for him, but he likes the one with the twin brother attached. (Vampire. Main Love Interest is Soren Mikaelson and all of Flora's Atlas kissers, especially Jo).
Roman Caldwell — Roman is one of the first non-Mikaelsons to be featured in a tug of war between multiple siblings. Klaus' sireling, Elijah's stress relieving punching bag, Rebekah's lover & Kol's partner in crime. He and Rebekah have an ongoing, occasionally ridiculous love story, leading to a lot of deaths for the people who get between them. Things get much, much worse when they run away together after New Orleans burns down, and get a bounty on their heads from her own brothers. (Vampire. Main Love Interest is Rebekah Mikaelson).
