you'll also seeing him wearing this necklace in most pictures of him from shattuck; the earliest I can place him wearing it is at the 2002 air canada cup (canadian national under-18 championship), which is maybe why it's orange? pics of him wearing the necklace at the ACC and shattuck:

then at some point he switches to a rimouski-colored necklace...

there is a THIRD BEADED NECKLACE that sid seemingly wore during his years as a dartmouth subway (2001-2002). check it out double-stacked with his air canada cup necklace:

you can see that the subways necklace (just like the ACC necklace) was chosen (...or made?) to look like his jersey: black, blue, yellow and white
