thinking about statues of Grace being built all around Erid years after his passing so he can continue to watch over Eridians as they sleep
I keep thinking about the fact that Eridians seem so much stronger and sturdier than humans, so what humans-are-space-orcs thing could Grace even do that would freak Rocky out... and then I remembered humans are persistence predators.
So picture some years in the future when the xenonite suits are so safe that Grace's class can now take field trips into his biodome. Rocky's there because this is a big moment for everyone involved and also he just loves listening to Grace in his element. One of the more mischievous kids tries to sneak off from the group and there are plenty of chaperones but Grace is the first to notice.
His posture changes, goes focused but loose in a way Rocky's never seen before as he peels of from the crowd. Rocky just stands there, stunned, as he watches his sweet, gangly, goofy, clumsy blob of a friend turn into a hunter. Grace circles around the pebble, slightly crouched, head turned and honed in, arms loose to the sides, and maybe the little one notices and does that nervously excited giggle-squeal thing kids do when they're being chased and tries to get away, but Grace expertly corrals them. He doesn't even have to run for it, he just pens the kid in, lunges-
And takes the little pebble by the claw to lead them safely back to their peers. And just like that he's Grace again, smiling and joking and tripping over his improvised shoelaces. Rocky hasn't been scared of Grace since first contact. Have you seen the guy? ... but for a second there his instincts were telling him to run.
As an aroace girly, I think people are placing too much importance on a kiss. Itâs not needed when their relationship and bond does all the talking.
As another aroace, I agree.
We didnât need to see them kiss because we got to see them being domestic. Love and relationships arenât all about kissing, theyâre about the safety and comfort you feel when youâre together. We got to see their wedding rings, them holding hands, and generally loving each other without a need to be sexual or eating each othersâ faces off. They got the happy ending that they always wanted to have, because thatâs all that theyâd wished for through thousands of years together.
They always craved being near one another, not getting a makeout session out of it, especially one that we saw was used as a method of desperation in order for the other to stay near. Love is a lot more than physical, especially for them, who are, as we saw, two people that will fall in love, no matter the universe.

PAST LIFE SESSION 7 SPOILERS
Do you think that Grian and Gem found Pearlâs dogs wandering around looking for their owner.
The dogs get so excited when they see their ownerâs friends, because they must know where she is. But instead they drop to their knees in front of the dogs and collapse into sobs because theyâre the last living link to Pearl theyâve got left.
The silly bone-shaped dog tags that Pearl insisted she needed to spend iron on are still hanging on their necks, and if they look close enough, they can see her reflection behind them, just close enough to see them grieve, but far enough away that her voice canât be heard over their sobs.
Grian when he doesnât get Boogeyman after never once receiving it out of the 36 possible chances he couldâve satiated his bloodlust (that he for some reason has the most of when heâs on green???):

Are people genuinely, and I mean ACTUALLY mad at Jimmy? Like of course heâs improving after 7 seasons. Iâm not saying you canât be sad about Pearl, but to get to such an almost parasocial level of anger towards Jimmy is insane.
For some people itâs like he stabbed their pet in front of them or something, like, take a nap, take a deep breath, look at yourself in the mirror, maybe even think, youâll be less angry about it, I promise.
And I know itâs not everyone, and most people are just more frustrated in the sense of the lore and story and stuff. But there are some people, like in Grianâs comments (bc of fucking course they go there) and Reddit (whoâs surprised) who are just being so overly sensitive about this.
Unfortunately, the people who have the worst opinions are usually the loudest.
Anyway. Congrats to Jimmy on his triple kill!

For anyone that is conflicted in who to credit for the Octo-kill, then I have a simple explanation right here.
Itâs all of them.
Grian himself even said it was a group effort, but to further prove my point, let me elaborate:
Etho: the Mastermind - comes up with the method, the planning, all the steps theyâd need to take to have a successful plan.
Grian: the Provoker - is the one to set off the trap, staying hidden and helps to thread lies about who else wouldâve been at fault rather than himself.
Gem: the Control - she is there afterwards to manipulate the crowd and back up her teammates, turning the other players on each other and doing damage control.
They all had vital roles, meaning if one of them hadnât been doing anything, then their plan wouldâve fallen apart.
If Etho had done nothing they wouldnât even have the idea. If Grian had done nothing the trap wouldnât have been set off. If Gem had done nothing then people wouldâve instantly jumped on to blame Grian, exposing their entire plan and ruining the secret. Thus, they would fail.
They were all vitally important and Iâve taken this a lot more seriously than I needed to, but here you go.
Are Gem and Etho just not going to be counted in the octo-kill??? Include themâď¸âď¸âď¸
