Since I don't appreciate being portrayed as a liar, and because I think this person has a fairly large following, I'd like to clarify what actually happened. I wasn't planning to address this at all. However, after privately asking this person to remove the false accusations she refused. That's the only reason why I'm making this post (won't stay up forever because I don't want to fill my blog with drama or negativity).
She believes that I created a fake account to stalk her and send anonymous asks. The only "evidence" she claimed to have was that this account supposedly used one of my pictures (which one?) and liked only my posts. I have never owned or controlled that account.
Maybe she's mad because I blocked her, but that happened months ago, only because I found her content disgusting and didnβt wanna see it.
As someone who also works in healthcare, that really hurts. Saying that she enjoys watching vulnerable patients gain weight because of antipsychotic medication, or publicly sexualizing people who are often not even fully capable of protecting themselves, is horrible to me. These are human beings who deserve dignity and respect, not to become someone's fetish. I have been working in bariatrics for years and years and I've never EVER had a thought like that. Hearing comments like these is disturbing enough. Hearing them from a healthcare worker is even worse. Fantasy is something, but they are real people.
The same person who loves saying that "healthcare is not your costume" is perfectly comfortable publicly sexualizing vulnerable patients. That's exactly why I blocked her in the first place.
(And, to the 146 people who liked that post: are you all right? You want an abusive person like that taking care of your health?!)
Looking through her blog, it's also obvious that a large part of it revolves around attacking strangers, and venting anger at people she doesn't even know. A public blog isn't a substitute for dealing with your own issues.
I never harassed her. I never created a fake account. I never sent anonymous asks. And honestly, I couldn't care less about her.
Apparently, she feels offended by my posts because of her own issues with body image and eating. Iβve plenty of struggles in my life too. But I've never attacked anyone for simply not having a problem I have.
The irony is that she also makes posts criticizing other people's bodies, while I have never, ever spoken negatively about anyone's appearance. Not once. Not here, not in real life.
I don't promote eating disorders in any way, nor do I encourage anyone to change their body because of me. I shouldn't be receiving hate simply because I happen to be on the opposite end of the spectrum. If seeing someone who exercises and tries to stay healthy is such a huge trigger, then maybe social media isn't the best place to be right now.
This is the only statement I'll be making on this matter. I won't engage with any further accusations, provocations, or attempts to start drama. I've made my position clear, and I consider the matter closed.
