Rose and the petal pushers. (My theory)
I've been thinking about how Julie could see our beloved ghosts and i realised that we don't really know if she can see all ghosts or only Luke, Alex and Reggie.
Then i remembered that Rose's band's name was Rose and the Petal Pushers. Pushing daisies is a phrase to say that someone is dead.
Soooo that means that Rose (maybe) had been able to see ghosts. "I've been in a couple bands myself".
What if she was in ghost bands?
And like in the jatp world ghosts exist 100% so why not witches too? What if Reggie was right? Julie was a witch, but her mom was too, maybe even Rose's mom.
And what if the only ghosts they can see are ghosts whose unfinished business they can solve?
What i think is that the couple bands Rose had been in (including her own) were made of ghosts that she helped cross over.
It could be like a family duty? Passed on from daughter to daughter (carlos can't see ghosts but he found out pretty quickly so maybe he can sense ghosts? Or maybe he's just a kid believing in ghosts).
Maybe Rose was gonna tell this to Julie when she was older but died before she could.
Another thing is that Julie is in a generation where she can sell the hologram thing. But Rose wasn't. So another power of the 'Rose clan of witches' is making ghosts visible and tangible until they can crossover.
This is what happened at the end in the garage scene. Maybe Julie had the power after all but her strong feelings 'awakened' her power at that time.
I think this could be very interesting. Imagine Ray knows about this and contacts someone from the 'Rose clan of witches' to train Julie's powers.
