so in s5eg A Chip to the Vet/More Than an Intern, both the A and B episodes reference that Monogram is constantly tracking Perry. The fact that the vet's chipping device beeped to indicate that either Perry, Phineas, or Ferb had been chipped, which the boys assumed was only Ferb, suggests that Monogram might even be using the same types of chip as the vets. Yet he also tells Perry not to get chipped since his family would be able to track him, keeping in mind he probably doesn't realize Phineas and Ferb could easily tap into the existing chip if they knew it was there. Carl is also the one to point out that Perry's enemies could also hack the chip, which Monogram claims was obvious despite the fact he is seemingly using the same technology. These are also the episodes where Monogram calls Perry in the middle of the day after tracking him without good reason, and calls to judge his eating habits, and completely uproots Carl's evening at his four part-time jobs. All of this paints a beautiful tapestry that Monogram not only has a terrible sense of boundaries with his employees and interns, but also that he is a complete fuckign idiot.
