I REALLY LOVED IT YOU WERE RIGHT. God their friendship meant so much to me. Rocky's my favorite I love him he makes me laugh. Me when I fist my bump like okay bro. He's so sassy as well??? ALSO THE HARRIER DU BOIS ASS BEGINNING. Losing your memories and having to put it back together through clues like why is this an underlying theme.

Also radiation poisoning. Wow why does everyone keep getting radiation poisoned!!! Honestly I've got so much to say about project hail mary it was beautiful.

Man the whole time during the scene where they're fishing and the ship is crashing out my head was just going "hull breach" over and over again. Iron lung flashbacks yippee.... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT WAS A HAPPY ENDING LIKE I CAME INTO THAT THINKING IT WAS TRAGIC AND THAT'S WHY IT KEPT GETTING PAIRED WITH IRON LUNG. APPARENTLY NOT?? I WAS SO PLEASANTLY SHOCKED

Yeah man uhm. this is bigger than us i guess. now all I can think about is how Simon's sun is already gone and how he doesn't get a happy ending but atleast grace and rocky do

smth about friendship like holy hell I love my friends so much and so do rocky and grace—they did a wonderful job of developing their friendship in a way that made me really care about them. And haha yeah I like me a good amnesiac start

For some reason when it comes to poirot stories, peril at end house has become one of my favorites! While it’s not necessarily the best mystery Agatha Christie ever wrote, I really like the poirot-Hastings dynamic and the overall environment of the story. Same with murder on the orient express and some others that I forgot the name of. In general, I like all the poirot books that have Hastings in them :) 

When it comes to adaptations, the TV series starring David Suchet CANNOT be topped. To me, he is the true Hercule Poirot (and who I inspire my poirot drawings off of). The episodes are enjoyable, Hastings is there (<3) and Suchet plays Poirot with the personality and affection the character deserves. I also grew up watching it so I have a lot of love for it. Pretty sure I’ve watched two Poirot movies that were fine, but they didn’t really stick in my head afterwards.

It doesn’t count as an adaptation but I used to play this version of monopoly with my sister where one person created a mystery for the other to solve (basically you use the monopoly board to rp), and one time I played as the hat piece detective, Hatcule Poirot. Loved him. Maybe I should make a post about this it was really fun😭

As much as I love the Poirot mysteries, I haven’t read nearly all of them, and I haven’t really explored the adaptations out there, so I’m sure I’ve left out some gems! But these are my personal favs 🫶
