my favorite thing about natori polls is imagining that they're in universe and touko is seeing them. she always votes for him, and then she sees the results, and she's like oh my! (because he's losing. badly) and the next time she sees him in person she's like i think you're very handsome natori-san, don't despair, you will find a nice young lady who appreciates you for you. and he's like, uh, thanks? not having any idea what she's talking about. the main problem with this is that if the polls were in-universe he would not be losing lol. unless natsume was stuffing the ballot box, but he doesn't care and would not be spending any of his precious time on this earth on such an endeavor. so the other option is that natori is winning the polls, but touko doesn't know that he's famous (and famously attractive), she just votes for him because he's a nice young man who is friends with her beloved foster son, and then when she sees the results she's like natori-san! you could make a career out of this!

once touko finds out about natori's movies though. fare thee well natsume. nishimura comes over to his house and sees all the natori merch and is like natsume you're a fan too??? and he's like no it's touko-san's!!!! so nishimura goes ohhh that makes sense, after all he is popular among the older housewife demographic. and natsume is all EW. NO. THAT'S NOT WHAT IT IS. but of course nishimura thinks that is what it is and natsume's just grossed out by the thought of his parents as sexual beings. natsume will never manage to convince him otherwise.

all these retro style games that are like "NO tutorials NO handholding" apparently forgot about the little books that used to come with your game that detailed all the mechanics, controls, special moves, lore, maps, collectables, means of unlocking additional content, character bios, etc

i remember there were a few games that would even include what was essentially a walkthrough/strategy guide for the first level or two, i dont get what these retro devs are on lmao
