Harrow was in so many situations in Harrow the Ninth that I just can’t believe happened: she was called daddy, she shared a bed with Ianthe, she made out with Ianthe, she was kissed by several people (2 but still), she was caressed, she wore a dinner dress, she allowed Ianthe to dress her up, she was drunk, she watched a threesome, she made lots of soup, she was in group therapy, she was hugged by several people (2 again but still), her hand was held and she didn’t bat an eye, she was visually assaulted by the paintings in Ianthe’s room, she was a cavalier who used a chain as her offhand, a chain!, she recited poetry she didn’t think much of, she was at a mixer, the entire coffee shop au, the scene where she tried to make out with the Body, her burying her head in the Body’s thighs that one time, Ianthe kneeling in front of her and her reflecting on her beauty, Ianthe finding her after Gideon zero attacked her, Camilla teaching her how to hold a sword and her immediately obeying no questions asked, Abigail asking her about her diverse soul, her whole dynamic with Ortus in the bubble, her dynamic with anyone in the bubble, responding to Harry…to mention a few because so much happened.
In the least evil way possible, and in the most perverted sense, I was flipping every page with the biggest smile on my face. Reading anything Harrow did in the book, reading anything that happened to her, awakened something grossly feral in me. Felt like I was sitting in a cuck chair as I read it.
