The British measurement flowchart is worse. They still use stone to measure their body weight.
The Canadians just haven't fully converted to metric because they have to deal too much with us Americans, where drugs (legal and illegal) and alcohol are the only things we consistently measure in metric.

like it's obviously not supposed to be burned down. seems like an authority thing? but i haven't seen anyone say why. it seems like a lot of money/resources go into putting up the straw goat every year. so maybe that's it? is Sweden taking resources away from somewhere in need to provide for this one tradition?
i was skimming this one article from 2012, an interview of this guy from the goat committee and he was like "yeah people get sad that it gets burnt down" and like who knows how true that is based on what he said alone, but putting up the straw goat is like a tradition? but only since the 60s? and the very first year, it was burned on december 31st???? i also see people associate the goat being destroyed/damaged with bringing good luck into the new year but why??? honest to god i'm just trying to learn the reason

I find it very offensive that the more unwell you are, the more things you have to do to maintain your health. Things like following special diets, going to medical appointments, making big and important decisions about what treatments to use. At the same time, the more unwell you are the less energy you have to do all of these extra things. It seems grossly unfair.

people make the same spelling and grammar mistakes so often, AI thinks that’s the way you say it because it is a PATTERN DETECTOR and cannot THINK let alone use language.
