you ever add something small, just a throwaway idea, and suddenly it becomes everything?

like a side character refusing to stay in the background or one random line hitting harder than you expected or a quiet scene turning into the one that carries the whole story

and now you’re just sitting there like… when did this get so important?

“You can’t do it all” is not a curse; you can sit back, enjoy your coffee to the fullest and dream of outlandish scenarios if that’s what fills your cup in that moment.

You can frolic around in your prettiest dresses on usual days and not just on occasions. Not merely because you’re not feeling the shirt and trousers, but because the stunning hand-embroidered kurtas are calling out to you - softly, insistently - and you choose to listen.

You can put on that kajal and awaken the inner goddess, embracing your exotic self in loose curls and bold lipsticks. Relax, you won’t be any less sophisticated (if not more!)

‘You are enough’ sounds like a perfect thing to hear, but please know, it is okay to ask for help because no one can be superhuman.

You can be a fearless queen and still shed tears when it gets too much. Remember, feeling too much is not a weakness; it’s a superpower.

Please don’t be the one to bottle your emotions in a jar and keep them in an unreachable corner, because you have it in you to sit down and patiently work with your careful, gentle fingers until the mess is untangled.

You can choose to sit down with your deepest fears, look into their eyes, and have a chit-chat until you gain some perspective - there is a quiet assertion in that.

You can pour your heart out to people you care for; there is fearlessness in that, too.

In being practical, you can still be spellbound in amazement at the sight of your favourite things - these little glimmers keep you young at heart!

But the daunting inner voice always throws around those big words: independent, strong, assertive, go-getter, practical.

Please know you can’t be all those things if you don’t listen to your heart’s deepest desires and embrace who you are.

If there is strength in being confident and logical, there is a deeper strength in being generous, intuitive, and nurturing.

Because a woman who embraces her femininity

is stronger than your strongest superheroes.
