I can’t help but look at my stories I’ve written over the years, including the bits and pieces of scenes from the ones I’ve destroyed but remembered a little bit of them, and just think about how I’ve started and where I’m at now.

Even my recent Writer’s Note I’m writing in my notebook has me feeling emotional.

I’ve never felt so happy with my current story idea before. The kind that I’m not Overthinking like crazy or Fighting my writing mind. I don’t even feel guilty for trashing the few chapters side project because it wasn’t working out for me. And usually I feel guilty, but I feel relieved.

OVERTHINKING MODE INVOLVES:

Making everything I write as perfect as possible (my most struggle).

Worrying about my stories, scenes, chapters, characters, and song lyrics not making sense (another struggle).

Making sure there aren't anymore potholes to fill in the blanks. I really don’t want to experience that again during editing.

Worrying about my writer/reader friends whenever I write since not all story ideas worked in different stories. I don’t want to let anyone down.

I MISS BEING AN EVIL WRITER TO MY OCS! I MISS MY EVIL WRITER’S SIDE! I MISS MY EVIL WRITING DEEDS!

I MISS EVERYTHING ABOUT BEING AN EVIL WRITER!

I know. I haven’t been writing as much lately. Though I did write two song lyrics last night, but then I set them aside for now to come back to them later to see if I still like them or if I need to rewrite them.

As for now, I’m currently trying to update a couple of my stories on Google Docs, so they would match my handwritten stories from MONTHS AGO.

And this morning, I kept thinking about a story, but I’m still deciding if it would work or not.
