interACT will be at WORLD PRIDE this year in Washington, DC. We will be marching on Saturday, June 7th and tabling at the festival on the 7th and the 8th.

FAQ:

We will have a Jeep as part of our march, so you do not need to be able to walk/ walk long distances to join.

People are allowed to enter/exit the parade and do not need to be able to walk the whole route.

We do not have funding to fly/transport people in, but we encourage those near DC or in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) to join!

Many HIV+ LGBTQ+ refugees in East African refugee camps are currently facing a severe humanitarian crisis. Due to discrimination, poverty, and lack of support, many are struggling to access basic necessities needed to survive.

We urgently appeal for support with:

🥘 Food supplies

👕 Clothes and blankets

💊 HIV medication and vaccines

🧼 Hygiene and sanitary items

🏥 Medical care and shelter support

These are vulnerable queer refugees who have fled violence, anti-LGBTQ+ laws, and persecution in their home countries seeking safety and dignity.

No one should have to choose between hunger and survival.

Your support, donation, or sharing of this message can help save lives and restore hope to displaced LGBTQ+ individuals living in extremely difficult conditions.
