“So what should I do?” Stiles whines, “I’d ask Danny—you remember Danny, right?—but I’m afraid if I ask, he’ll sell my identity online.”

“Did you dislike Derek’s tongue all over your throat?”

“No.”

Stiles hopes the webcam hides his blush.

“Oh, I knew you were a little freak when I saw you.” Phoenix laughs, and, makeup finished, adjusts her fake boobs before looking directly at the camera. “I’d say he’s sending a clear signal. Fuck, I’d kill to have a guy go Discovery Channel on me.”

When Erica first got her job—front desk receptionist at Peter’s fancy building, to his annoyance—she was actually eager to learn and prove herself.

To have her own money.

She was so naive.

She’s learned to give the absolute minimum, only increasing effort around tippers.

It’s why she’s spent the last hour texting with Boyd about what they walked in on earlier.

Derek and Stiles were close enough they could’ve kissed if either took just one step.

Stiles stands frozen where Derek left him even as the door opens.

Erica rushes past them to Derek’s fridge, complaining she’s starving—a daily complaint from her—Boyd silently following.

They both have work to get to after the pack meeting and won’t be joining the rescue effort, but Derek wants his pack to plan together.

Derek decides not to refuse his instincts and stalks towards Stiles, staring intently at him.

He watches Stiles's eyes dilate as his hand goes to the back of Stiles's head.

Derek uses Stiles's newly grown-out hair to pull his head back, tongue licking the juice from Stiles's throat.

Derek only stops when he hears a car engine turn off just outside—more of the pack arriving.

He smirks when Stiles stays still, head tilted, pungently aroused.

Derek pulls a little more.

Stiles arrives first, and Derek continues staring out his window, building up his nerve.

Talking honestly, especially about feelings, isn’t his strength, but Stiles needs words.

When Derek’s ready, he turns to Stiles and freezes.

Stiles has taken a bite out of one of the fruits Derek left out, a peach.

Juice all over his mouth and dripping down his neck.

Stiles notices his attention and gives him a challenging eyebrow.

He probably means to dare Derek to say something about the mess, but Derek would rather do.

Even though Stiles obeyed every traffic law, he’s the first to arrive at Derek’s after school.

The rest of the pack, even Allison, should arrive soon for their planning session, so Stiles cracks his neck and puffs out his chest and enters as if nothing’s amiss.

Derek’s too “focused” to acknowledge him—as if the view from the window has changed—but Stiles notices the set-out snacks.

There are only nutritious options.
