MAGIC WATER WOMAN The most profound realizations I’ve made over the last week have been made while being immersed in water. Water is the medium of our birth. She is the element that flows, moves and grows, regenerating life on our beautiful blue planet. Without her, we would be dust. I read an article on the plane to Miami about how Vietnam vets have found healing in surfing—they all said the same thing: We are at home in the water. The water washes away the worries of war and releases us into a place where the traumas of the wicked world no longer wield power. Water is truth. I am water. Get in some real, live water—a stream, river, lake, pond, ocean—and feel the sense of relief that blooms within you. We need water. And, I believe, water needs us. Water is the womb. We can all walk on water.
