honestly don’t know what i’m getting at here but something something if i had a nickel for every time there was an episode of gotham where an original love interest who went insane after killing their parents and gets broken out of arkham by theo galavan tries to win the protagonist back by holding him and his new love interest hostage (intellectual co-worker who you’re meant to like but also goes crazy later) and airing out why this new person is actually poorly suited for him to a crowd of people that are being forced to watch at gun point, then swapping out their main weapon for a knife to get in this persons face and threaten them but are interrupted by GCPD intervention so they have to flee the scene, and are then chased by jim gordon who they get in a physical altercation with before falling off a building because they decline his help so they don’t seem weak, i’d have two nickels. which isn’t a lot. but it’s weird that it happened twice.

i do not want either of those nice ladies with jim i fear (because they should be together) but i will use him and barbara to my benefit when i feel like it because using a sauceless straight ship to build up toxic yaoi is what god put me on this earth to do
