a/n: hey friends, long time no see!! i'm so sorry 😭 i've been super duper ill lately, which is why it's taken me so much longer than usual to get another update out. i'm ngl, this chapter is kind of a filler/transition chapter as we move into the next part of the story, but it's honestly all i've been able to muster while feeling this rough. regardless, i hope you still enjoy this little update!! i'm actually really excited for the next batch of chapters i'm working on and can't wait to share them with you all once i'm feeling a bit more human again. also, tysm for all the lovely comments and kind words over the past week. they've genuinely made me smile during a pretty miserable time, and i'm sending lots of love right back to each and every one of you ♡ i'm really hoping i can kick this virus before the weekend because my plan is to spend most of saturday evening working on the story, but atm it's hard enough just looking at a screen for too long without wanting to dramatically flop over and perish (cries). thank you for being patient with me, and i hope you enjoy the chapter x
