But if you're an early 19th Century typefounder, what do you call these gimmicky new fonts without serifs? Caslon: 'Doric' (presumably because a Doric column is plain?) Thorowgood: 'grotesque' Blake and Stephenson: 'sans-surryph' The Boston Type and Stereotype Foundry: 'Gothic'

Vincent Figgins started using 'sans serif' in 1832 and it stuck.

I need to fucking vent because twitter really be getting on my nerves sometimes but ... I hate how the current fandom treats headcanons and everything meta. Like, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the whole Kris and Soul/Us relationship, it's so interesting to see. And the whole thing about Gaster and the weird route?? Ogh that's amazing ... Peak performance right there muah

What I REALLY hate is that people can't seem to grasp that people have been in this fandom for SUPER long and sometimes I get kinda dissappointed in how people treat ... idk ... Frisk for example? Now it has to be a uwu lil guy AND a whole unstoppable god at the same time, and I'm ngl I hate that. It takes away a lot of things, and don't get me started on trying to make Frisk and the Soul/Us the new Kris/Soul thingie where people are just like Nah we just control Frisk and they let us do it. Soooo ...... are they an unstoppable god or is it us??

I just remembered the tweet about how if you fight pacifist Undyne they just do 1 damage because "they are resisting the player" and it kinda pisses me off because ... that would be literally the first and only time they do that 😭 Like ... they don't resist us chosing "I have places to go" and leaving the monsters? Really? You seeing what I'm seeing??

And don't get me started on the whole "They have to be a UWU BABY! Frisk is 5 y/o!!!" I hate it okay?? And not because I don't like it, I find it very cute, or at least I found it very cute. I'm now tired that that's literally all you can see now and you can't fucking see any other interpretation??? Sorry that I want Frisk to be an adult so they can have meaningful conversations with people and because I find the "Monster Ambassador" idea interesting. Y'all wouldn't survive my Frisk, they are a cringe fail enby that's very bad at everything they have to do and the only reason they are pushing thru is by pure determination.

But watch me be completely annihilated and all that just because I find boring the idea that All the humans that fell down were children (In my AU/Headcanon only 1 of the 6 humans souls is a child) and Frisk is no exception to this. Chara is another thing entirely because I dunno what to do with them sometimes, but I love them. He did fell as a child but I have an interpretation of him that i don't know why no one else have it but, my personal headcanon. Maybe one day I'll share ... but it kinda ties with ... oh yeah

I see Asriel/Flowey as an adult too. You see it as a child? Okay, fair enough but I don't see it. He has literally been thru countless life times since he used the resets and stuff so much. Like, he really said he did EVERYTHING and found everything boring. Going on a lil tangent, it feels like a The Good Place and the Groundhog Day kinda situation a bit. (IYKYK, also y'all should watch them if you haven't already, they really add to the whole thing imo)

What I mean with that is, Asriel appears as a child because he is super traumatized and yes he died as a child, but this bitch has been thru so much so so much, both mentally and in actual years for him. I can't imagine how much this could fuck you up because we really can't even begin to comprehend such a massive pass of time. Also don't you guys find it weird that he is an adult in Deltarune despite probably being just 18-20 y/o but the moment you say something about Undertale Azzy he suddenly is a UWU child again, despite Living The Horrors™️thru, again, countless years? And don't get me started on the whole "Flowey doesn't feel anything", it's been proven time and time again that it's just coping at that point. So yeah, he can grow up.

Me remembering someone that put Ralsei as an adult to have a big brother/Asriel paralel betweem him and Kris and being dogpiled for just having another interpretation, y'all are the real weirdos there. Because why do you guys jump to seeing a whole new interpretation and go "Oh yes this person has a very nefarious intent."

Hm ... I think that's all before I go all rambly (I mean ... even MORE rambly I guess lmao) but I guess TLDR: i don't like the whole "Frisk is possesed by us" thingie because it kinda takes away from everything and I think Frisk can have any age, it's fully legal, idk why people have to be weird if you interpret them as an adult. Same with Asriel, it's completely normal to intrepret both as adults. Asriel the most normal imo but that's just me.

Okay so like I don’t believe they are evil. This is mainly due to towards the end of the No Mercy run, when you have killed everything, they speak directly to the player. Most players want to deflect that their actions were because of Chara, or that it was Chara in control, but that doesn’t ring as truthful to me. I believe they were just a child. A child with an intense hatred for their home, but not an inherently evil entity that is possessing Frisk. Even consider the Game Over screens, it includes Asgore (and perhaps Toriel? My memory falters) encouraging Chara to get up and try again. This shows that they have a bond with their adopted parents, and they think of Asgore when they need encouragement. You are encouraged to name them after yourself, and if you treat the fictional world as cruelly as you possibly can, then a character with your name confronts you at the end.
