you can set your devices to gray scale mode / color filter in settings ! this helps you see colorblind colors only , and can be adjusted to whatever your transid type of colorblindness is!!

focus on contrast over color when describing or just looking at things,!

mix up colors frequently, especially when theyre similar in color value/lightness/darkness!!

research eye conditions that can cause ur transid colorblindness,,

make friends with other colorblind people!,!

remember, you are always valid! you are truly, really colorblind and no one can change it!, be kind to yourself and ignore tha haters ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪

get some white mesh contacts! you can get good ones on pinky paradise website for between $20-$30! you can also get them in prescription without verification if you want to. these contacts make it hard to see anyway as if you have cateracts or something literally obstructing your vision.

practice blindfolding, use eye patches, or buy full on white-out contacts.

try navigating familiar spaces with your eyes covered/closed. then experiment with navigating not-so familiar places.

turn on text-to-speech on your phone and rely on it.

ask people to help you and say your sight isn't very good.

wear dark sunglasses even in dimly lit places.

if you want to wear an eye covering, use bandages that you can wrap around your head over one eye and secure. then put a wig over your head and it'll cover the bandage on your head, but your eye will be covered. it looks cool too. it looks flawless and as if your eye covering is more "natural", for lack of a better term.

don't be afraid to be public about losing your sight. no one can see through your eyes so what would they know.

₍₍⚞(˶˃ ꒳ ˂˶)⚟⁾⁾ Reminder to all my fellow transblind friends that there is an eclipse happening today!!!! Please be careful and cautious but I know last year a few people were planning on using the eclipse to transition!
