I made these for our Curse of Strahd server. Just a Discord server where we do fun stuff and schedule new sessions, as well as store some notes on former sessions.

I don’t know who’s gonna read this. But i still wanna say what i think about the movie Fallen (by Lauren Kate).

So, today i finally finished to watch the movie. (I downloaded it ‘cause in my country is not gonna be until idk, and not in all cinemas) I know is like cheating, but i have to do it, i wanted to see one of my favorite stories getting real. But, now i think this was a huge mistake:

(SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED IT) (P.S. this is gonna be loooong)

First of all: the characters were so minimized. 

-Arriane was supossed to be one of the greatest friends of Luce, like her mentor. She talk to her like a friend JUST ONCE. Luce didn’t even cut her hair (AND WHAT ABOUT RULE NUMBER TO: “DON’T LISTEN TO ME).

-Penn; leaving behind the fact she is not short and a little “fluffy”, she’s like too happy, too clingy and too hipster (she was the only character i could actually love) but she does look like Arriane more like Arriane actually does. She’s not shy, she does not look sick AND SHE HATE HER PARENTS (one of the saddest parts of her death was the fact of actually bury her right beside her dad AND SHE HATE HIM, what that supposed even mean? PLUS, SHE’S IN LOVE WITH A HIPSTER TODD HAMMOND)

-Gabbe was a character who you can almost hate if you put in the shoes of Luce (because she’s a lot of time with Daniel), until you know the very real story behind her. BUT SHE’S NOT THE ANNOYING BREAKING-ALL-THE-CUTTEST-MOMENTS-OF-LUCE-WITH-STRANGER-GUYS GIRL SHE’S IN THE BOOK, she barely appears in the movie and Luce didn’t even hate her. (She says “Is that bad i can’t even hate her?” MY GOSH SHE’S LIKE HER FUCKING ARCH ENEMY ALMOST HALF OF BOOK, SHE NEEDED TO HATE HER.

-Roland poor little Demon. If he does not appears a lot in book, the movie put him just to not to hate them more.

-Cam, my sweet, spontaneous, and sexy snake master Cam, what did they to you? why you arrived to Sword & Cross in a fucking patrowl? Why you aren’t that sexy and made sweet brunches in the sematary? Why you look like a carless drug adict and your sun tattoo is not in your neck? Why are you tiny when you are A FUCKING DEMON? how the literally hell did this happen?

-Daniel: he was one of the most hurtfull characters in this movie. She didn’t wear a red scarf when Luce meet him. HE WAS SLEEPING IN THE SPECIAL COLECCTION’S SECTION. He did’t was as evasive as in the book, and you can’t hate him because he is HOT DAMNED SEXY AND IMPOSSIBLE, you hate him ‘cause he’s like “Oh, i can’t be with you, stay amm away, amm you are crazy” HE DOESN’T HAVE THE BALLS TO REJECT LUCE WHEN SHE’S SUCH A STALKER. (WHERE’S MY MIDDLE FINGER YOU FUCKERS?)

-Lucinda: HER HAIR IS NOT SHORT and she looks like a frigid bitch who tries to look depressive but she’s actually a rich girl who thinks the world is against her all the time. She doesn’t look guilty when she’s around others, she does’t look happy and nervous when she’s around Daniel; she doesn’t look “flirty” when she’s around Cam. (She does look more like Kristen “Poker Face” Steweart in Twilight) 

-Molly where the literally hell is my meatloaf? the reason why Luce and Penn make friends it’s because Molly throws her meatloaf at Luce’s head, the one who feels like a stalker freak because Molly says she is and all because she’s protecting her and, at the very end of story, she sacrifices herself for Luce. Why Molly acts like a freaking goth girl who annoys the rich girl just because of reason?

The whole story looks empty, storyless, like everything happens just because reasons. I know is adapted to de book, but the one who made the script literally took the book, gave it to a lazy person to read it, asked for the characters and “MAIN” events, a little of background story and TA DAAAA! had the script in just 15 minutes.

The script does respect the original story not even a minute, the escensse of the characters is lost, the main events are now living in our memories, the mistery is reveled since the very firts moment of the movie and they made a lot of spoilers from other book. They could have made a movie with the four books without giving a SINGLE FUCK. We watched more BILL than GABBE and ARRIANE TOGETHER in the film. AND ALL THIS MESS IN JUST 1 HOUR AND A HALF.

Trevors death was painfuller than Penn’s death... IT WAS LIKE “PUFF” you’re dead now: *adds bellatrix voice to miss Sophia” I KILLED PENNYWATHER VAN SYCKLE LOCKWOOD.” this whole thing is fucking bizarre.

P.S. TODD IS JUST A SHY, PSHYCO NERD NOT A HEARTBREAKER I’M-GOOD-AT-DOING-FRIENDS-AND-FLIRT-WITH-PENN TYPE OF GUY...
