Babes, with all that's going on, please don't delete your accounts, just put your shits on private and turn on some of the things, like for your account not to appear when searching up. Being a fangirl is insane..

What is Fangirls for Future?
For a while now I have believed in the importance of community when making a difference to the environment. Just facts can be overwhelming and confusing and don't always encourage people to help. A community of people working together, starting closer to home can make more people get involved.
Fandom is a community space and I believe it could be used for so much good. Fan activism projects have raised money for charities, put pressure on companies with unethical practices and can raise public awareness of issues. Fans are creative and passionate and if we could channel some of the energy we love our fandoms with into helping the planet, I think we could make a lot of difference.
So this is a blog to try to promote that idea and be a space for other fans who want to help the environment. I am hesitant to start this blog because I don't fully know what it's going to be yet or how regularly I'm going to be posting but you have to start somewhere, so I'm starting here.
I hope this can be something positive.

A note
I want this blog to be a welcoming space for people of any gender but I chose the name Fangirls for Future because I think it is my experience of being a fangirl specifically that has influenced me to start this and I want to reference that.
There is truly nothing like the power of fangirls coming togheter
Pretty sure I just got called old in the best way possible. 😂
A comment was left on a fic I haven’t updated in two years and they said they forgot fangirls weren’t just teenage girls and was surprised I mentioned my husband and kids in an author’s note.
LMAOOOO
//The young girls are hyperventilating and starstrucked, it's flattering for the ego, yes but I think it gets annoying too. //I think most almost 50 year old men would push through the annoying part and bask in the adoration of women 20+younger 😂I guess it depends on the level of annoyance 😂//
My hubby who is the same age as Jensen wholeheartedly agrees , flattering at first but ultimately annoying 😂
Imagine you have to deal with it the whole day. It must get exhausting

You never know how weird people are inside
Once I convinced half of the girls in my class that Erwin Rommel was actually a fine man and started a fangirl group for him on a random roadtrip
You never know
Sometimes you see a story so obviously written by a 14 year old girl that it's like a neon sign pointing at the story with a giant two story arrow.
And the thing is the story isn't like, great.
But it's doing something for her and a handful of other 14 year old girls on the internet that also want to date Legolas or wish Obi-Wan Kenobi was their secret Dad or that they are secretly Clark Kent's other other cousin or that Tony Stark is secretly their Dad or that Dean Winchester is either in love with them or secretly their Dad or that they have super powers and everyone likes them.
And maybe you don't finish reading it.
But then you scroll down and hit kudos and hope that adolescence is easier on them than it was on you.
And that they work out those Daddy issues.
