saw a part of an interview with noel gallagher where he said at the start all oasis gigs were girls and it wasn’t until they were starting to get big did all the lads start coming, and how it was more fun when it was the girls. and he’s RIGHT. I love it when it’s acknowledged that fangirls are the backbone of every fandom. fangirls are always first at the scene, always first to support artists, and then later on down the line we’re ALWAYS made fun of for it
