What is the mental extent of embracing?
Like each clan has a trait but what if the person embraced is like the opposite when they are kine? What if a blue collar laborer is embraced by a ventrue? Do they suddenly like paper work? Or a torador who had a distaste to vanity or trends ( I dont care lf its Gucci, a trashbag is a trash bag!)? Or what if they're one of us freaks who find nossies sexy; do they loose their sexual interest? Cleopatras are a thing in the nos clan, does that count??? I know tzimicises are just bat shit insane but whats the extent of it? How much of your morals and beliefs are grown away when your embraced?
My very first vtm oc was a toreador called Charlie. A paranoid lil bastard

My theory of the vampire condition
So apparently people actually read my post in this fandom. Any other place and I get like 2 notes. And I have a medical theory! I wont doubt caine's curse isnt real but there is no doubt that there is a science to it. I'm not a medical professional, this is just information I know generally. And sorry if it's all over the place I hadnt thought about this theory in months.
And I believe the vampire disease is rabies. Now I will elaborate on why rabies. There are alot of blood diseases yes, but how many can effect your mental state? Minor changes depending of your clan but you also have to deal with 'the beast' which can be counted as aggression.
Know this disease is unique! Its not strong considering how it can be cleaned out of a kine body. My example for this is ghouls; they get a sample of the blood and they get stronger, faster, sharper, and as proven if you play malkavian, the clan mental trait. But it can be cleaned out by your immune system, which is why a person must be completely drained of blood before being given vampire blood. But the disease makes up for this in addiction. That's why ghouls are helplessly devoted to you. The blood lets off a sense of euphoria to make the kine addicted and to encourage embracing.
The diseases obivously has different forms/strains. What I mean is you cant get rabies from cutting your knee, duh. Someone/thing needs to have the rabies themselves to pace it on to you. So nosferatu cant make a venture. And you cant just have sex with a prostitute and suddenly turn into a vampire.
Now I know this is kinda dull on evidence but I had thing all thought out last summer but completely forgot about it until today. I honestly wish I could talk about it with Beckett becuase I think he would idea interesting and maybe possible. Plus the werewolf blood theft lacroix had us do does feel like a clue. Granted werewolves and vampires are different but a clue is a clue! Talk about it with me in the replies I would like to hear what you think.
