it's messy and the end result is not quite right because Wasp is just burning through vitae just to experiment (much to his Sire's disdain). it's kinda gross in a way. when they take the form of a buck, it looks uncanny? i guess, for a deer. it's like from far away a mortal wouldn't suspect much, why would they, it's just a buck.

but once they get a closer look, it's this creature on all fours, hunched over like its shoulder is ready to pop backwards, out of the sockets. a hairless muzzle carrying human features stretched out to cover a skull that isn't its own. and towering above is a pair of heavy rack dripping with loose velvet for Wasp hasn't quite master the make up of that material yet. all the while, the eyes, too human yet too wide in shock, frightened to be at the risk of either breaching the Masquerade or becoming a local cryptid.

simultaneously, the Animorphs covers keep popping up in my mind. and i honestly think that's way funnier. i need to relearn Photoshop so i can do this to Wasp.
