Just this past November, when I was about to do my Christmas shopping at M&S, my brother-in-law asked me to look out for the centerpiece I had recommended, and to get it for them if I see it. I asked him if theirs got broken or if theyβre planning to gift it to someone.
He said, βWe never bought it. It would've been difficult to transport then, but I wanna get it now if itβs available.β
He had no reason to mess with me.
But I asked my niece anyway if they'd ever owned it, and she swore she'd never seen anything like it in their house. I searched my iPhones, my Mac and my backups for the photo I took and I never found it.
Less than two months has passed.
Yet my life has already changed drastically. Financially, romantically, emotionally⦠everything has been elevated for me.
