i think something is really lost when we whitewash cards like the Death card or the Tower into being about "a change" in the abstract. specifically, there are lots of cards that are about change. like a good half the deck is about something new starting, something old ending, or something changing shape.
and like, endings arent always bad, sure. upheavels arent always bad. also sure. but why are you softening your message instead of speaking clearly and then guiding someone through the work of coming to terms with whats going on?

If you want to get into Magic/Esoteric practice understand you need to work on your foundation here in Malkuth before you can really begin working your way up the tree. Read the books, listen to educators, learn the cards sure. But take care of your body and where you live too. Do some exercise. Take a walk. Eat and drink stuff thats good for you. Look after your pets and houseplants. Do some community work. The greatest magic you can do most days is to eat a decent meal, pick some litter and live in your community.
