i did a tierlist a few days ago but i also wanted rarepairs but not have to put every ship in a category or add categories so here’s ones i actively ship/my otps etc/canon ones

if anyone knows an artist who draws atla (ships) art pls let me know, especially if they also like rarepairs and have made art of rarepairs

i always get so happy i shake and stim but i get so disappointed when i can barely find anything of them, not to mention i crave art of them, not necessarily fics 👀

at the moment i’m craving some tylaang, teoph, mai x june, smellershot, hama x kanna, zhaozai, mako x jinora, ty lee x longshot, jintara, jin x jet, mai x jet, songko, jetzula, maikka, teokka & mako x opal

and possibly some aangji and pemalin

not to mention the other ships that weren’t even on there and the poly ships

These are taking a hot minute to do on summer cold brain so I am splitting them up. First there is what is considered the canon gaang by most. (Also for sake of sanity I skipped the OT3's)

Orange is Aang, Light Blue is Katara, Dark Blue is Sokka, Light green is Toph, Red it Zuko and Dark Green is Suki

He didn't have to lift his head or even just crack open an eye to know somebody was approaching, for his girlfriend, who he'd thought had fallen asleep half an hour ago, stirred suddenly, first just twitching fingers and a scrunched up nose, then turning around in his embrace fully, pressing a hand to the ground.

"Who is it?", he asked sleepily.

When she didn't reply, even after being poked gently, he sighed and blinked and the sun was brighter than he remembered, and Toph's elbow dug sharply into his chest when she propped herself up.

Teo grunted.

"Sorry", she said, and sat up fully.

Her fingers brushed over the bruised spot.

"'s alright. Would be better if you laid back down with me."

His voice close to a whine, anyway, he pushed forward his bottom lip in a pout until she started laughing, at which point the pout turned into a frown.

"Still can't see your puppy eyes", she chortled.

He dropped his arm over his face.

"I didn't forget."

"Sure you didn't."

Her eyes sparkled with mirth.

Toph

Level 5: OTPs/pls be canon

Sokka - Tokka: As I’ve already mentioned, Tokka is one of my ultimate Avatar OTPs. Tophs crush on Sokka was just cute and I would always be interested to know just what it was that attracted her to him. Their dynamic was just great, but I also stan them as a Brotp too even though I wish they were canon.

Level 4: not an OTP, but I still support it

Satoru - Satoph: It was kind of a shock to see them pair her up with someone in the comics, but I guess Toph was gonna have to have some love interest at some point and Saotru was cute with her and I think they’d have a good run before breaking up, but the romance would be good for Toph.

Level 3: neutral ground

The Duke - The Doph: This was a bit of a random pairing but tbh I kind of see it happening when Toph and the Duke are much older, but only as a fling or something since I don’t really see much potential for that relationship.

Teo - Teoph: Another random pairing like The Doph but I see them having a fling or a short lived romance when they’re both older, but like The Doph I don’t really see much potential for them.

Level 2: Brotp

Azula - Azutoph: As I mentioned before, I think that once Azula’s cleared up her insanity that these two could become great friends

Aang - Taang: I can’t really understand the appeal of them romantically, since I see them better off as friends and I love their friendship dynamic.

Zuko - Toko: I’m salty that we never got a life changing field trip between these two because it would’ve been hilarious. I can only imagine the trouble they would’ve gotten up to together if Zuko had joined the Gaang at the end of book two so we were robbed of that.

Ty Lee: I don’t know what their ship name is but I liked their interactions in that one comic they had together since Ty Lee and Toph isn’t a pair that I would imagine to be friends but they surprised me

Level 1: Notp

Katara - Katoph: They can hardly tolerate each other as friends so I doubt any relationship between them would work
