My name is Dante and I'm a 2nd year university student from the United States. I’ve decided to finally start my own studyblr after lurking for about a year or so haha. I hope that being active on this blog helps me stay on top of things and lets me meet some cool and interesting friends along the way!

✧ honestly this is MOSTLY a studyblr, but also sort of a personal blog because I am a mess. Will mostly try to post studying tips/self-care/notes/the occasional rant .
✧ a big nerd into anime/manga, comics, netflix, and all kinds of books. My favorite genres are horror/thrillers, action, slice of life, and urban fantasy. Send me some recs any time!
✧ Currently double majoring in health and society/human biology with a certificate in pre-health professions. Also kind of considering a minor in gender and sexuality studies??
✧ I really love science, it’s the reason I came to college in the first place! Although I'm not a fan of math tbh :/ I’ve always been a hard STEM subjects kinda guy but I've grown to love liberal arts subjects as well! Philosophy, mythology, sociology, and anthropology are right up my alley :D
✧ I started off college on a pre-medical track, but after some academic mishaps on my part (lmao oops (; ω ; ) ) I’m kind of debating whether I should really go to medical school after finishing my bachelor’s, or if I’d be happier pursuing something in the social sciences?? Idk at this point
✧ My research interests are mainly in genetic engineering, epidemiology, social stratification, and the health disparities experienced by minorities in healthcare. So hmu if you ever wanna talk the culture of healthcare in America and all that good stuff *fingerguns*
✧ Not gonna lie, I haven’t been the best student in the past and my academics suffered because of it. I lost a lot of my motivation for school but !! I’m trying really hard to get myself back on track
✧ My current focus is on recovering myself academically as well as improving my mental health
✧ Long-term, I think my career aspirations are still either a physician, a social scientist/researcher, or a college professor?
✧ I enjoy the work ethic a lot of the people in the community have and find it inspiring!
✧ I really need some accountability in my life and I feel like having this blog will help I, the perpetual procrastinator, get my shit together (´• ω •`) somehow.
