13 September 2019 | The group work every week in one of my courses this term has me perpetually on edge, so I’m trying to find some decompression time in the pages of Little Women. I’ve grown a ton in the past year in my ability to work with others—I inherently despise it if I’m completely honest—but most of my group members this term seem completely unable to follow directions/submit things on time so it is pretty exhausting. Trying to remind myself that I let people down and am constantly in need of grace and mercy myself so that my anxiety isn’t coupled with pride and self-righteousness, but that is easier said than done. Prayers sincerely appreciated.

Some chemistry class notes and calculations from the other day

note-taking for one of my online classes. i’ve been using my iPad Pro for notes, but it’s a lot more useful to use it for my orgo class than my other ones. so i found this little notebook that was a gift a couple years ago so i didn’t have to carry around a big notebook. :)

I finally got around to listening to this recording of Under Milk Wood performed (in part) by Dylan Thomas— a record which was an impromptu gift from my parents a while ago; they saw it at the vinyl shop in my hometown. It was recorded in New York in 1953 & I love everything about it, especially this cover

Did I stick to my non-coffee rule? Absolutely not. At least I put it down to one a day, and I’m feeling better as weeks go by. I’m starting to feel the pressure, tho 😥 Also, it’s September, fuck you summer, where is my fall weather???? 🍁🍂
