My friend's yearling filly, Valencia, is sick. I was worried about her, as she's young and came off the range so has probably never been exposed. They took her down to quarantine last night. At this point, I'm not sure why they are bothering to do that, as all the horses have been exposed, but it is raining today, so at least she'll be out of that.

The last owner of the barn put a strict quarantine on the whole property when we had an outbreak, and only 3 horses got sick. This owner... yeah, nope.

Still keeping a close eye on my boy. I know he's probably got good immunity against this (strangles), but I still worry.

“Are you just going to eat that frog?” Lightning asked.

Diana nodded. “It’s solidarity with Strangles.” She pointed to where the snake was enjoying a frog of his own. “See? We can eat frogs together because we’re friends.”

“I guess...”

“Don’t worry, mom. If you don’t want me to just eat this frog, I have a solution.”

“Oh?”

Diana came back with two pieces of bread.
