adding the paper texture made it look sooo Poster but the clean version is less desaturated, so I'll put it under the cut

OKAY I am Real Pleased about this one + glad to have finished my two prepped poems waiting for me to have enough clarity of thought to design. it's such a stunner!!! this is the latest in a series of (Star Trek based) collage poems and you can find the rest here. The Sun is from a calendar page and the words are cut from an old book on fun facts, then arranged into a new poem! It took me a while to decide on the composition, but once i found it, i almost didn't want to glue the words on!

I think about the themes of repression and isolation and struggle and loneliness and connection and reaching out and finding your reason to be (and and and) every day. and you know what else i think about every day? Spock and Captain Kirk are in love + it matters so much I'd love to tell you lots more about it and my collages/poetry if you're interested!

Do you like nudity and outfits worse than being naked, Rube Goldberg machines of sexual frustration, fake dating at a fetish club island, ludicrous situations that continue to escalate, Spock losing it over how much he wants Jim, Jim winning conversational combat with swift and fatal efficiency, restraint and aching against it, body shimmer, public baths, temptation, entrancing dreams, and canon-typical antics multiplied by repression?

I forgot about Spocks heavy telepathic powers. But he doesn't sense it, if Jims hand collides with his private parts just one episode later ...

Still not watching snw and hating 99,999% of it, but ... I got shortly aware of the mind link between Jim and Spock and now I can't make it unsee.
