#horse stuff

This mare we got last year is WAXED UP and ready to have her baby.

(Not my mare but hell I'm the only person who sees her, pets her, has ridden her, AND is foaling her out so she's by law of horse distribution, mine.)

Dazzle is a silver dapple genetics unknown

Dad is "Perlino with the color genetics of CrCr, AA. Ee which means he his Homzygous for the Cream gene. Homozygous for the Agouti gene and is Black base coat but does carry the Red gene." (According to his ad)

So go ahead let's make guesses about what we are gonna have while I sleep in my car outside her stall tonight

And to clarify she was purchased in foal. The sire is also the sire of my precious angel, bindi.

Okay, so, I know I've done this before, but I've gotten new ideas. You know how they got new horses for the Eternal Night, right? At first, I kinda wanted the old horses to stay, but I've now figured out stuff for the new horses.

One small problem: I don't know who ends up with which horse, so I'll leave that up to you to figure out.

I've got some backstory for the horses of the PCs: They all come from the same place, which is a stable that's often used by the soldiers of the Barrowguards. Thus, not much thought was put into the names. The four horses have always been together in some way or another.

Here they are:

Twiggy: A plain-looking brown horse. She's just vibing. The best way I can describe her is if Bob Marley wrote elevator music. There is one thing that's different about that: Don't mess with her friends. You will regret it. Also, she may not look like much, but boy can she run.

Tyrell: Dun. (For the non-horse people, he's kinda the same colour as the sand) He is the perfect mixture of cat and curious toddler. He's just poking around like, "Ooh, what's that? What's this? Hmm, what happens if this goes over here?"

Bluebell: Palomino. (The mane and tail are pale, and the body has a similar colour to a penny. The same colour as a lot of Barbie horses, especially Tawny) Very loving and gentle. She's prime therapy horse material. If any of them are spiralling, she does what she can to bring them back to themselves. It strangely works.

Bob: Piebald. (Black and white for the non-horse people) He's a bit like a stressed philosopher. None of the gang really knows if horses can have existential crises, but Bob looks like he has them on a regular basis.

NPC time:

Gaya: A black horse named Josefina. Josefina is a very loyal horse to those she calls her own. She and Gaya have been through so many situations, it's hard to count.

Amry: A donkey named Mitchell. Mitchell's just here for the adventure. He's the living embodiment of the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme song. He's just a goof.

Like i loved Vera more then any horse ever i really cannot comprehend that shes gone. I really. I

I cried so much today and now im crying in my pillow i miss her so much. We did have this one point in the day where there was a bit of thunder and everyone was hurrying inside but i liked to think of it as Vera's hoofs as she was galloping in heaven. I just thought "Vera is running" that was cool but the rest was just. Painful

She was the sweetest horse ever she did not have a bad bone in her body. So patient and so gorgeous and such a lovely horse overall and now shes gone and i really cannot deal with this

There’s a tragic lack of horse characters in the world in general I think, so I’ve taken it upon myself to fix this.

I've made a GoFundMe for Herbie's care. There is an expensive procedure that could potentially allow him to eat normally again and extend his life, but realistically I don't expect to raise the $12,000 it would cost. Still, any amount will help soften the blow of his current hospital bill and the cost of euthanasia.
