This may be controversial of me to speak aloud but why has there been an increase of ocxcanon / yumeshippers who just. don't properly give credit to the artists that they've commissioned??

Maybe its not as common on tumblr but I keep seeing it on twitter. Which is so bleak 💀💀

Just my own observation

Yume community on twitter: lean more towards making their ocs look as "canon" as possible, getting fake drip market + splash art of their ocs is a must, end all goal is to make people believe their ocs are from the actual source material. The more money you spend on commissions = the more well liked you are

Whereas here on tumblr: more focused on lore writing of their ocs, explores what if scenarios in the form of drawing or fic writing. Generally much more of a community instead of a clique with a hierarchy.
